On the night of Hope's eighteenth birthday, she and Bo were about to make love when her father came looking for her. Doug was so furious to find them in a compromising position, that he suffered a heart attack on the spot. At the hospital, Doug asked Hope to stay away from Bo. It was painful for them, but they did. ... until much later.
