Tottie Turns Heads The Sydney Morning Herald, 28 July 1997, p2 The Guide A few heads were turned last week when the former Chantoozies chanteuse Tottie Goldsmith was spotted at the Channel Nine Melbourne studio. Goldsmith who has just completed filming for a third series of Ten's Sex/Life , is yet to negotiate a contract for another series. Was the network chequebook out? Well no, according to a Nine spokesperson who revealed that Goldsmith's impromptu appearance was part of a pilot being taped for a potential new late-night show hosted by Tim Ferguson. The two pilots are being filmed during the next few weeks and Ferguson, off air since Don't Forget Your Toothbrush and Funky Squad is calling all friends to help out. Nine producer Peter Wynne who is reported to be heading up the new program (working title :"Tim's Show") confirmed that Goldsmith was appearing as a guest in the pilot as a favour to Ferguson. "Tottie is coming on the show to help out Tim because they've been mates for a long time, but it seems her presence has made a few people around the station a little excited.
