"The hunt is never off."
A pure blood hunter, SledgeBite is a Destron with a single objective:
to hunt down any Cybertron target given to him by Leviatron. Intense and
tenacious, SledgeBite usually shrugs off any damage taken just to get the
kill. He can lose an arm or a leg and he will still be on the trail of
his victim. In fact, most Cybertrons believe the only way to shake him
off is to either place him in stasis lock or simply blow him to pieces.
SledgeBite has an incredibly high damage tolerance rating, which explains
his ability to stay on target for so long. His beast mode provides him
an uncanny sense of smell that enables him to sniff out a Cybertron from
up to 4 klicks away as well as the gift of speed, agility and raw power
in the water. In beast mode, SledgeBite uses his razor sharp teeth to saw
through joints and rip through any Cybertron armor plating. His beast mode
head can be fired off to stun or knock out a Cybertron with a well aimed
shot and followed by a vicious attack of razor sharp teeth.When in robot
mode, SledgeBite deploys his head in the same way, but this time using
his teethed hammerheaded gunblade to ladle out the damage. Armed with natural
and cybernetic abilities, SledgeBite ensures the waters are never safe
for Cybertrons on Hydros-3.
WEAPONS
This arm isn't much of a weapon at face value, but is an integral part
of SledgeBite's effectiveness. Functional in both beast and robot modes,
this powerful projectile slams into Maximals with enough force to disable
disable most Cybertrons with one blow. Moreover, it returns to SledgeBite
on hitting the target. The toughness of the hammerhead makes it difficult
to destroy and deflect, making it an effective melee weapon as well as
a shield. SledgeBite's right arm ends off with the razor sharp teeth of
his lower jaw as a hand and, when employed with the hammerhead, gives him
an outright advantage in his role as a hunter.
If the hands don't get you, this gunblade will. Perfect for stabbing, the
serrated edges of the blade double the damage and penetrate deep into gashes,
seriously damaging circuitry and wiring. Also, SledgeBite has an easier
way of dealing with ammo, needing to just to pluck out and shove in a new
magazine when out of Energon shells. His Spark crystal allows him the paralyze
his foes with powerful electric jolts.
