From: "Yannick Belzil" (onclegreg@hotmail.com) Date: Fri, 28 Nov 1997 10:42:45 PST DC's best comic book, JLA; Justice League of America, does not have any drinking game, I'm going to remedy that right now. Here it goes. Take one sip if- -A character refers to something happening in his own title. -bickering between Green Lantern and Flash -Batman says "HH" -Bats treats another member as a manservant -Superman calls a Leaguer by his real name -J'onn uses his martian psychic powers. 2 sips- -GL does something cool with his ring -Reference to DC history -We see Superman as the heroic icon that he is. -You see a DC guest star. -You discover that someone is really J'onn J'onzz disguised. -J'onn is hurt by fire 3 sips -An old villain is revamped in a nwe terrific form.(i.e. The Key) -Original cool new use of a leaguer's powers (Aquaman causing seizures with his mental powers) -See and old leaguer. -Someone says that he likes seeing Wonder Woman (i.e. Zauriel: I'd pay money to watch your back!) -WW kicks a villains'butt when the villain in question claimed that she couldn't. -Plastic Man behaves in a Jim Carrey sort of way. -Captain Marvel is there and shouts SHAZAM!! (that is so cool) Gulp -Teamwork of GL and Flash is used -Aquaman is friendly with someone else than Green Arrow. -Green Arrow shows his calm nature. -Aztek does actually something -Bats and Supes have a chat -Bats calls Supes "Clark" CHUG -You see the Wonder Twins -There is a link to the Kingdom COme mini-series. -The JLA gets almost beaten because of an adversary who has psychic powers. -Gets a new member. -Cool use of an established DC villain. That's about it for now, when the membership will be completed I'll add more stuff. E-Mail your comments to onclegreg@hotmail.com -Airwave READ JLA!!!Return to the Ultimate Drinking Game Home Page
"Hitman" Drinking Game
Date: Thu, 11 Dec 1997 05:13:47 +0000
From: AD Ewing (ade100@york.ac.uk)
All these drinking games... even one from the JLA, complete with 'HH' reference. Yet NONE for Garth Ennis's
HITMAN! Free of charge, obligation or even movie rights, here's my pathetic stab at the official Tommy
Monaghan drinking game. (I'm sure you must get a lot of these. Bear with me. It's early in the morning in
this country.)
DISCLAIMER: Drinking is BAAAAAD! Fun, but nevertheless BAAAAD! Don't do it, kids. No, no, no!
BASIC RULES: Only spanish beer will do. Preferably with 'Sierra' in it. If someone pukes up they have to
announce that they are Baytor. Anyone spotted being drunk will have to recount an adventure with the
Justice Club. Anyone who threatens to kill somebody during the game has to make long speech about how if
God is up there, the guy ain't saying jack, and how they wish it coulda all turned out different. That's
enough basic rules.
TAKE ONE DRINK IF:
-Pat makes a crack about Hacken (two if Hacken beats him up)
-Someone says "motherloving"
-Tommy and Pat have buddy moment (two if Tommy uses Pat shamelessly as him mail drop, three if Tommy shoots
Pat in head)
-Tommy talks to demon from hell (two if it's Etrigan, three if said demon ends up working in Noonan's)
-Tommy talks to Batman (two if he vomits over him)
-Tommy drinks some Sierra Nevada (two if he shares beer with Debs)
-Tommy makes joke about Natt's belly
-Tommy misses Pat
-Tommy discusses childhood (two if Ennis uses that pelt-the-bully-with-rocks scene AGAIN)
-Someone says "Freakin'"
-Ringo and Tommy exchange looks (two if somebody notices)
-Major supervillain appears (two if he gets shot)
-Tommy uses X-ray vision to eye up women
-Tommy uses telepathy to get into Wendy's pants (six if he shows any hint of remorse whatsoever)
-Tommy whines about losing Wendy
-Tommy gets shot (two if he mentions that he has been shot, two if Natt gets shot)
-Natt says 'Drop dead' or 'Bite me'
-Tommy kills a zombie penguin
-Tommy chats up Debs (two if he gets meaningful, three if he snogs her face off)
-Tommy mentions the Gulf (two if he mentions murdering a squad of SAS)
-Tommy meets a fellow Gulf veteran
-Anybody mentions a movie
-Hacken does something stupid
-Hacken shouts "An' KILL the ......! An' KILL the .......!"
-Sean acts like a Dad (two if he shoots somebody like a dad)
-Tommy shoots someone until they disintegrate
-Tommy says that he doesn't shoot cops
-Tommy proceeds not to shoot a cop
-Green Lantern shouts the words "Green Lantern"
-Green Lantern won't pay for his drink
-Sixpack appears (two if he mentions the Justice Club, three if he shits himself or mentions that The Flash
once crapped his pants. Section Eight get eight drinks.)
-Debs' crazy grandpa turns up.
-Debs' mother tries to get her and Tommy together.
-Debs' insults the GCPD.
-GCPD member insults Debs.
-Captain Burns does something dodgy.
-Tommy is kinda choosy about the job.
-Tommy shows somebody his eyes.
-Tommy flashes back to origin.
-Anybody eats a burger bigger than their head.
-Anybody drinks so much they pass out.
DRINK EVERYTHING IN SIGHT IF:
-Tommy and Natt come out of the closet.
-Tommy digs Pat up.
-Tommy drinks glass of light wine.
-Natt becomes emaciated diet addict.
-Hacken wins respect.
-Tommy and Ringo throw down.
-Tommy gets the chair.
As you can see, this is fairly hardcore. Even on sodas, we're talking very hyperactive people here, and
'doing a Baytor' is not out of the question. Hope you like it.
Cheers,
Al Ewing

"It's a Wonderful Life" Drinking Game
From "MAXIM" Magazine
It’s a Wonderful Life Drinking Game
- Drink for every scene in which a bell rings. (Do not, however, drink every
time a bell rings, or you’ll be on your ass in minutes.)
- Each time Clarence plaintively yearns for his wings, everyone drinks. (This
includes scenes in which he’s a talking star.)
- Each time the word “loan” is said, all players “lend” a bit of their drinks
into a large bowl. When the phrase “building and loan” is actually seen
on-screen, the first person to shout “loan!” gets to choose someone to
drink all that is in the bowl.
- Drink every time Sam Wainwright says, “Hee-Haw!”
- When George Bailey cries out, “Bert! Ernie!” all players launch into a
performance of the song “Rubber Duckie.” The first player to flub one of
the lyrics must drink. Each subsequent time George Bailey mentions Bert’s
name, the first person to shout “Ernie!” gets to choose another player to finish his drink.
- When Uncle Billy discovers he’s lost the $8,000, the first person to shout
“Bankrupt!” gets to put any other player’s head in the toilet and flush it.
- Each time Mr. Potter is seen being moved in his wheelchair, everyone calls
out the name of a member of the Barrymore Family (other than Drew). The
last player to do so must drink.
- Whenever George talks to someone who doesn’t recognize him, each player hollers
his own name. The last person to do so finishes his or her drink.
- When you see a sign that says Bedford Falls, everyone drinks. Each player writes
the name of another player on a secret ballot. When the Pottersville sign
appears, the person with the most votes must drink what’s left of the other
player’s drinks.
- The most sober player at the end of the movie must drink through the cast’s
performance of “Auld Lang Syne.” All other players must sing along with
the movie, because no man is truly poor, so long as he has friends.
