Episode # 2: The Gundam Deathsycthe

At St. Gabriel’s, Heero is preparing to fence with a male student who is saying he heard Heero had ripped up Relena’s birthday invitation. Heero doesn’t say anything until after he defeats him, and then leaves. Elsewhere, Zechs and the Alliance begin planning for the search for Wing.

Back at St. Gabriel’s, Heero has hacked into the school computer and is using it to search for a weapon to destroy wing before the Alliance can get their hands on it. He locates some deep water torpedoes with tracking devices installed. Taking a disk from another table he opens his file and begins to alter the financial blanks in his file. Heero hitches a ride on the underside of a truck and then breaks into the marina where the torpedoes are stored, while Relena, riding home contemplates his strange behavior toward her.

Zechs, underwater, detects metal and sends a search team to go and locate the enemy mobile suit. Zechs watches on radar as mobile suits begin to be destroyed by an unknown enemy. Deathsycthe appears and attacks the carriers, coming up to the surface he stands on deck of one of the sinking ships as he destroys them.

At the school, Relena’s party is underway. She arrives and thanks everyone for coming to her party. Her father says he has to leave and she says she understands.

The same male student from the school spots Heero driving an ambulance heading toward the Marina Military Base. At the circus, Trowa is shown trying to get a job there. In the desert, Quatre has set up camp with the Maganac Corps, while Wufei has ordered a large amount of explosives. Underwater Wing waits…

At Relena’s party, she hears about Heero and immediately goes after him, fearing he’s on a mission to kill someone, and she’s determined to change his mind.

Underwater, Wing is finally discovered, but as they attempt to latch onto it, a self-detonation device is activated. Suddenly a small globe lowers into the circle of mobile suits surrounding wing and explodes in light, and Duo attacks in Deathsycthe. Dispensing the enemy, he deactivates the self-detonation device in Wing and grabs the suit and begins raising them to the surface.

Heero has raised the torpedoes just as Relena arrives on base. He turns, and points a gun at her telling her to "say goodbye". She gasps in horror, when suddenly a shot rings out from behind Heero. Relena stares in shock as Duo comments on his being the "bad guy" and shoots Heero again as he goes for his gun. Relena runs to stand in front of him shouting. "What do you want to shoot him for?!" She tears her dress to bandage his gunshot wounds as Deathsycthe and Wing breach the surface waters. Duo holds up another bright light, keeping Relena from seeing what’s happening, Heero runs and leaps up onto the torpedoes launching them. They impact and both suits fall back into the water.
