Episode # 4: The Victoria Nightmare

Zechs is reading a report when he’s told by a solider Victoria base is on the line. He looks up to see Noin. They speak a few minutes and he asks her about her ‘war effort’. She replies, "My efforts are for my love of outer space. " Zechs, heading toward Victoria base is expecting the arrival of a gundam because of the Taurus Factory there.

Noin gives her students one last speech and presents them with their suits and first mission: to get their suits off base safely. Zechs and Noin chat in the soldier’s room before they’re interrupted by Otto.

That night, the base awakes as the pilot trainee quarters are attacked. Noin, angered and hurt deeply takes command and goes after the enemy, taking control of the mobile suit division. She locates Wufei on the infrared scan.

She orders Wufei to stop or she’ll shoot, he continues and she fires. He falls off his bike and turns to face her. She says something to her and seeing she’s a woman he kicks his backpack up and it explodes blinding her temporarily as he escapes to the safety of Shenlong. Noin orders they bring the space laser, and the two suits carrying it arrive moments later. She orders them not to fire and he turns and destroys the two Aries suits holding the space laser and takes Noin out of play with one well aimed hit.

Back at base, a short distance away a solider orders the suits to be loaded up. Zechs tells the officer not to panic and launching is a bad idea, he’s ignored and the shuttle launches and explodes moments later as Shenlong picks up the space laser and blows up the carrier containing the suits.

He turns toward Noin in her damaged Aries and says, "Are you listening woman? Huh? You saw I was a kid and you underestimated me.. You’re a weak soldier…" After saying so, he leaves her there in defeat, not attacking the base further.

Heero goes over his mobile suit assessing the needed repairs. Duo attempts to talk to him but is ignored. Heero is alerted by a beeping inside his cockpit of a new mission and he says he’ll tend to it first thing in the morning.

In a meeting room the high officials of the Alliance are discussing the recent attacks by the gundams. Dorlian tries to quell the hostiles and prevent more mobile suits from being gathered, but he’s asked to leave.

In an outdoor bath surrounded by pillars, Treize is bathing with Une standing by. He gives her orders to eliminate Dorlian. She says she’ll take care of it.

At Quatre’s camp he’s playing a violin, and Trowa decides to join, playing a flute while their gundams are being repaired. Meanwhile, Noin arrives back at base and Zechs says he’s glad she’s all right.

She replies, "You’re only saying that because if I died I’d get a two rank promotion,"

Noin decides to leave Victoria as an instructor and go to work with Zechs.
