Episode # 47:Collision in Space
Episode Summary:
[Scene: Space: Earth troops are gathering near Libra. ]
[Treize in Tallgeese II. ]
Treize: Fellow comrades, only warriors exist in this world. That purity is what makes this battlefield so beautiful.
[Show Treize in cockpit. ]
Treize: Let us finish this final battle of mankind and keep the horrors away from our home.
[Massive group of mobile suits charge toward Libra. ]
[Scene: Lady Une at MO2. ]
Lady Une: This battle is a crucial moment in our history. It must be something that people will talk about for generations to come. For that reason, many warriors will end up having to sacrifice their lives.
[Scene: Libra. ]
Solider: All mobile dolls have entered battle with the enemies man unit, the commando unit.
Miliardo: This battle is only the beginning. We must make earth and all it's residents know the strength and the determination of the space colonies.
[Another section of Libra. ]
Solider: Have you checked the system?
[Show Heero & Relena. ]
Relena: Heero?
Heero: I'm going to stay here until this battle's settled.
Relena: Huh?
Heero: It'd be hard for Treize to destroy Libra right now, so when the time comes I'll do it myself.
Relena: But I still think we have to stop this battle. Dictators are the only ones who sacrifices lives in order to attain peace.
Heero: But Zechs and Treize are ready to sacrifice their own lives, that's why I have no intention of stopping them.
Relena: Yeah but-
Heero: You stay right here with me.
Relena: Huh? You're going to look after me Heero?
Heero: I just don't want to feel like I owe Zechs when we end up fighting.
[Relena smiles and sits down beside Heero. ]
Relena: If this battleship really does go down, there wouldn't be a reason left for you to fight my brother.
Heero: ...
[Scene: Peacemillion. ]
Howard: Hmm, so far the two sides seem pretty even. So who will we side with?
[Trowa and Duo stand behind him. ]
Trowa: Well, it looks even now but that's only because Libra hasn't used it's main weapon.
Duo: Cause every time they fire it, it needs to be fixed... that's helping out the earth's side, but once it's fixed the White Fang will have the advantage.
Quatre: The White Fang only represents the ideas of a portion of the colonies. They don't stand for the colonies as a whole. I'm sure many people in the colonies are hoping for peace.
Wufei: Maybe... but would helping Treize really be in the best interest of space?
Quatre: Treize is only fighting against Libra and the mobile dolls, not the colonies.
Trowa: That's a good point. The main threat right now are definitely the White Fang and Libra.
Wufei: You sold me. Libra has got way too much power.
Sally: But what about Heero and Ms. Relena?
Duo: They'll be just fine... knowing him...
Howard: Okay then.. it's settled?
Quatre: You bet. Just keep Peacemillion headed straight toward Libra.
[Scene: Libra bridge. ]
Solider: We've confirmed Peacemillion's location. They're going around the battle zone and coming toward us.
Quinze: Those idiots! The gundams are still regarding us as enemies even at a time like this.
Dorothy: *laughs* That's no surprise. From their perspective every force is an enemy.
Quinze: This is no laughing matter. We can't afford to send our front line mobile dolls to fight them. We have to no force to stop them.
[Miliardo stands up. ]
Miliardo: I'll face them.
Quinze: What? You will?
Miliardo: I'm taking 3 virgos with me.
Quinze: Only 3? That's crazy!
Miliardo: It's enough to keep me alive.
Quinze: Commander Miliardo!
[Miliardo leaves. ]
Quinze: Listen up... is the main cannon fixed?
[Scene: Peacemillion... gundams are outside. ]
Quatre: Noin, please stay and guard the Peacemillion. The Taurus doesn't have the mechanical abilities of the other suits and I think I know who we'll be facing.
Noin: Roger that.
[Duo looks up. ]
Duo: It's looks like they've come. It's him... and he's only got 3 Virgos with him. This'll be a snap.
[Inside Miliardo's cockpit. ]
Miliardo: I'll teach you. This is how mobile dolls should be used.
[Deathscythe attacks. ]
Duo: Here goes...
Quatre: Hang on a sec...
[Attack is blocked. ]
Duo: What!?
[Deathscythe is hit. ]
Quatre: Duo!
[Scene: Tallgeese destroying enemies. ]
Treize: Fighting mobile dolls is simply dull.
[*beep*beep* Lady Une appears on console. ]
Lady Une: Your Excellency, the gundams have entered a battle with Epyon.
Treize: Seems that Zechs is truly hated by those gundams... I would thank them for their help but the fact is they're not fighting for my sake...
Lady Une: Please be careful...
Treize: (pauses.) Thank you. *smiles* But our objectives are the same. Libra must go down... that's for certain.
[Scene: Gundams vs. Epyon. ]
Wufei: What the?
[Heavyarms fires and misses. ]
Trowa: Get those guys!
[Epyon attacks sandrock. ]
[Deathscythe attacks but Epyon dodges and attacks sandrock again. ]
Duo: Why does he keep going after Quatre?
Quatre: They want to decrease their enemies. Maybe they think I'm the easiest to knock off...
[Inside Epyon. ]
Miliardo: Just trying to crush the brain first...
Quatre: In that case if I keep them close to me...
Trowa: Duo... Wufei...
Duo/Wufei: Right!
[Virgos fire. ]
Miliardo: I won't let you get into any formation...
[Sandrock is hit. ]
[Scene: Tallgeese battling more mobile dolls. ]
Treize: Nice work Miliardo. The mobile dolls are right where you want them. Even our commando unit can't get any closer to Libra.
[Scene: Libra Bridge. ]
Quinze: Has MO2 still not moved during the battle?
Tech: No, they've done nothing but take in damaged mobile suits sir.
Quinze: I thought they might have a new weapon but maybe they're nothing more than a supply base... okay we'll move the Libra.
Dorothy: Wait! Are you going to destroy this beautiful view of the clash between the two forces?
Quinze: Ms. Dorothy, Mr. Miliardo declined Treize's offer to a duel. Calculate a course that will take use around MO2 to earth. And don't forget to inform the commander.
[Scene: Libra begins moving, Treize watches and sighs. ]
Treize: That was the correct decision But can you tell the people of space it was also a very sad one... Miliardo.
[Show Epyon in battle. ]
Miliardo: Problem.. right now we must show earth how sad it is in space.
[Scene: Peacemillion. ]
Tech: Libra's leaving the site of battle. It's heading for MO2.
Howard: At the moment MO2 has very little military force and it can't move on it's own. I'm guessing Libra will go around MO2 and head for earth.
Sally: Then let's go after them...
Tech: What's the point? We don't even have the weapons we need to destroy Libra.
Sally: Sure we have the weapons. Enough to destroy Libra's main cannon.
Tech: Wait a sec- You're not suggesting..?
Sally: Evacuate all civilians... MO2 will take them in.
Howard: Alright. Very well then, everybody move to the sub bridge now...
[Peacemillion's Engines start. ]
Miliardo: I suppose that's the obvious decision... but I'm not going to let you take Libra down...
Duo: They're after Peacemillion...
Wufei: How... how can they keep dodging Nataku's assault?
Quatre: It's no use... The three mobile dolls are working together to form a single powerful shield. We've got to move in and destroy them.
[Miliardo looks over sharply. Noin flies in front of Peacemillion to guard it. ]
Miliardo: Noin! Get out of my way!
Noin: No Zechs... I'd really rather not have to fight you... but I -
[Epyon raises weapon. ]
Miliardo: Noin! Get out of here!
Noin: I'm not moving! Even if it means having to fight you...
Miliardo: Noin...
Noin: Zechs...
Quatre: Ms Noin!
Duo: What are you waiting for?
Wufei: What are you doing? Shoot him!
Quatre: Ms Noin!
[Taurus is still as Epyon charges with beam saber drawn. Noin gasps and closes her eyes, lowering her weapon. Miliardo scowls and brings the saber down, missing Noin, and flies off suddenly back to Libra. ]
Miliardo: I don't understand... why am I still so spineless?
Noin: Oh Zechs...
[Scene: Libra. ]
Tech: The Peacemillion is about to plow into us.
Quinze: What? You're kidding, are we able to dodge it?
Tech: No, there isn't enough time.
Quinze: Deploy all canons. Shoot that ship out of the sky.
[Cannons fire but do not stop peacemillion. ]
Sally: Yeah so we'll wipe out their main weapon.
Howard: Use the BTY booster as well. I don't care if it wrecks the engine.
Tech: Roger.
Duo: Hey, have they gone out of their mind?
Trowa: No chance. It's the only option left.
Treize: I have to applaud your courage.
Quinze: They're gonna hit us! [gets on floor. ]
Dorothy: Stop the engine now! All units prepare for collision!
[Scene: Heero & Relena. ]
Relena: Heero, what's happening?
Heero: Get down and cover up your head.
Relena: Huh?
Heero: Peacemillions plowing into us.
[Scene: Peacemillion]
Tech: Engines 1 & 3 damaged well now I guess now we don't have to turn them off. All right, how about some excitement?
[Ships collide. ]
Howard: Okay, leave the damage reports for later. Extinguish the fires around the fuel packs.
[Scene: Libra. ]
Tech: The main cannon... has been completely destroyed. Luckily it didn't explode because it wasn't charged up.
Quinze: I don't believe it... how could this be?
[Dorothy is giving orders in the background. ]
Dorothy: We still have not lost this battle.
[Scene: battlefield. ]
Treize: That's right. This battle will continue until every mobile doll is destroyed. All units keep fighting.
[Scene: Libra. Heero & Relena. ]
[Heero lifts a broken sheet of metal off him and Relena. ]
Relena: Hey, thank you Heero. Thank you for protecting me.
[Heero looks around... Relena sees his arm is cut. ]
Relena: Heero you're hurt.
[Heero looks at his arm. ]
Heero: It's not serious.
Relena: But it's bleeding.
Heero: Now Zechs won't have his victory...
Relena: What do you mean by that?
Heero: Forget it... I'm gonna need Zero.
[Scene: Miliardo in Epyon outside Libra. ]
Miliardo: What's the damage?
Quinze: The main cannons is completely useless.
Miliardo: And the engine?
Quinze: Well it has been damaged sir but it still an get up to about 70% capacity.
Miliardo: Then we still have a strategy.
[Gundams approach Libra. ]
Duo: Oh, that was one big collision if I've ever seen one.
Trowa: As it stands now it'd be hard to just destroy Libra.
[Sally appears on vid screen. ]
Sally: This is peacemillion. We're not at any risk of exploding right now, but we're pretty much stuck here.
Quatre: I understand. We'll board Libra and take over the ship from within. We'll destroy the mobile doll ctonrol system and then order the White Fang to surrender. Also, we gotta find Heero & Ms. Relena.
Duo: So we're going in? This reminds me of the old days...
[Altron takes off for the battlefield...]
Duo: What's wrong Wufei?
Wufei: I'll leave it to you...
Duo: Hey! Hang on Wufei!
Trowa: Just let him go. He's keeping an old promise.
Quatre: We should hurry and get to Libra.
[Noin starts crying and flies away from Libra. ]
Quatre: Ms. Noin?
Noin: I'm sorry... but I ... I just..
Quatre: Feel free to go Ms. Noin...
[Explosion]
[Scene: Libra bridge. ]
Tech: Gundams are entering from gate 17. There's no way to stop them.
Dorothy: Can't help it with the gundams, but make sure none of the gundam pilots get anywhere near our principal sections!
[Scene: battle. ]
Solider: Curse those blasted mobile dolls! A gundam... is that a gundam backing us?
[Show altron fighting. ]
Treize: An upgraded 05. The pilot has to be that kid...
Wufei: Listen Treize, when I'm finished here I"m going to put your integrity to the test.
[Scene: Libra. ]
[Heero is putting on his spacesuit. ]
Heero: Once we're on Peacemillion, follow Howard's instructions and get your butt out of here.
Relena: I want to talk to my brother just one more time...
Heero: It won't help. Zech's decision is final.
[Relena sighs. ]
[Scene: elsewhere on Libra. ]
[Duo floats down hall. ]
Duo: This area is obviously used for confinement.
[Stops at door and listens. ]
Duo: Step away from the door if you don't wanna get hurt.
[Lock explodes and he opens door. ]
Duo: That definitely wasn't what I was expecting to find...
[Scene: Libra. - Trowa. ]
Soldier: Hey... Get him!
[2 Soldiers shoot at Trowa, he dodges. ]
[Scene: Quatre stops and opens door. Show Dorothy. ]
Quatre: So it's you... Dorothy Catalonia.
Dorothy: That's right Quatre Rabarba Winner.
[Dorothy raises gun and fires. ]
[Scene: Door opened. ]
Dr. J: Zechs wanted to send a tremendous blow to the earth and by using such a significant impact he wanted to awaken the fears of wars and open an earnest desire for hope in the hearts of the people.
Professor H: That's the reason we ended up helping build Libra and we even developed the Mercurius and Vayete.
Duo: Ah, so I've got you to thank for the trouble I went through.
Dr J: We did add a little something to Libra's main cannon.
Professor H: We built an error into it so it can't fire consecutively.
Duo: No kidding... is that so?
[Stands and points gun at H.]
Duo: Do you think that atones for your sins?
Professor H: No, of course we don't.
Doctor J: It's not payback time yet...
[The scientists laugh. ]
Duo: I knew it... I wish I hadn't found these guys...
[Scene: Peacemillion. Howard & Sally ]
Howard: All units prepared to escape.
[Sally looks at console. ]
Sally: Huh? Howard, Heero says he's leaving with Zero.
Howard: What? When did he get back?
[Scene: Hangar- Peacemillion. Heero & Relena stare at each other. ]
Relena: Heero...
[Scene: Epyon standing on top of Libra. Noin's Taurus lands behind him. ]
Miliardo: Noin...
Noin: It's me... I won't try and stop you... Just let me stay here by your side..
Miliardo: Do as your desire...
[Stares at Earth. ]
Miliardo: Planet Earth... you're about to learn a lesson. The real crushing blow is yet to come...
