Personal Life There is very little to nothing mentioned of Treize's personal life. He seems to spend much of it serving Oz, attending gatherings, making speeches etc. He was seen, however on one occasion, at an opera. Who's to even begin to guess what Treize did with his time before this whole thing with the Gundams came up... We *do* however know, thanks to Endless Waltz, that sometime when he was younger (around 17-18) he met a young nurse by the name of Leia Barton and they conceived a daughter, by the name of Mariemaia. It's impossible to even wonder at where Treize & Lady Une could have met, the possibilities are endless, it seems. |

In the unlikely possibility you haven't seen the entire series yet... be warned Spoilers abound...
Treize is the man in Une's life... pretty much the only person *in* her life. They don't show anyone else... Treize loves Une, he says so himself, (indirectly) never *to* her though. Like I said before, his regard for her seems to be pretty well known, (i.e. the Treize faction (well, Lt. Nichol) bringing the unconscious Lady back to him.) Zechs, Treize's closest friend also knows of his feelings for her, as admitted by Treize to him.
Treize's personal regard for Une seems pretty clear. He calls her "Lady...and my beloved lady... my love... etc". He too, is protective of her, though not as fiercely as she is of him. He contacts his friend, Zechs to save her when Nichol tries to destroy her by leading her to the battlefield and then using the beam cannon to wipe everyone out. Treize says to Zechs, "Save this unfortunate lady for me..." Lucky for her Zechs agrees, and using Tallgeese speeds them both out of the way of the powerful weapon.
Treize doesn't like her to be away from him, and reluctantly sends her to the colonies, because her presence was necessary there for a time. Later he says, "Hurry and return to me," when she's in space.
It is likely he's more in the company of Lady Une than any other person within Oz, seeing as she's his personal assistant (and she probably thinks herself sole bodyguard, if that isn't one of her actual duties).
Treize himself is highly respected, and popular both with women and men. He's seen at a Romefeller function smiling and chatting amist a group of ladies, and he's always surrounded by top Oz officials. His popularity is also shown and gave rise to the Treize Faction, (of whom Lady Une I would guess would be a chief member...had she been conscious through it all..) (Sidenote: Lady Une was conspicuously absent at this event, she was tending to other matters in Moscow... I wonder if she's ever around when he's having drinks with all the women, surely they go to a lot of functions, and she's not absent at all of them...) Seeing as they spend so much time together, it's not too unlikely she'd accompany him to the opera and such events that he likes to attend.
After her return from the destroyed Space Fortress Barge he goes to visit her in the hospital with red roses, (at least 2 dozen of them!). He brushes his hand against her cheek as he's talking to her.
How do we really know he loves Une?
1. He keeps pictures of her close... he had one both of Colonel & Lady Une.
2. He calls her his "beloved Lady"
3. He calls her "my love".
4. He says to her "Hurry and return to me," (not hurry and come back, not hurry and return but hurry and return *to me*. Aren't quotes great?)
5. Of course, he intervenes in space, having Zechs save her, he couldn't let her die... ^_^ I wonder how he even found out she was out there anyway...
6. His visit with her in the hospital, the roses, the soft touch to her face...( their most romantic moment so far, too bad she wasn't awake for it.)
Unfortunately his last words to her are about all the people who've died for him. She relays that the total is 99,822. And that 105 soldiers had died in that battle so far along with 82 White Fang members... his actual last words are to Miliardo Pacecraft...
