GW Movie: Endless Waltz

Detailed Episode Summary: 

Part I  - A.C. 195 - Christmas Eve.

Heero and the other gundam pilots finish the war from the end of the gundam series with various flashbacks, including that of Wing Zero destroying the chunk of Libra heading to earth.   Afterwards, in the new time of peace, the gundams become unnecessary, and it is decided to destroy them by sending them into the   sun.  Duo and Quatre pack up the gundams and launch them toward the sun. 

A.C 196 - Christmas Eve.

Noin and Lady Une are attending a speech being made by the president, speaking briefly they part ways shortly after.  Sally- Preventer Water informs Noin- Preventer Fire of an anomaly in space and says she will investigate further.  Meanwhile in space, Relena Dorlian has continued in her duties as Vice Foreign Minister of Peace and visits the newX-81999 colony at their request.  After speaking briefly about their population growth problem, the drug in Relena's tea knocks her out and the Barton Army confiscates her.   In another location, Mariemaia and Dekim Barton are watching the speech being made by the President when Dekim remarks... "There is nothing wrong with hoping for peace, but is humanity ready for it?"

Trowa meanwhile has noticed suspicious characters hanging around the circus and goes to investigate. Noin and Sally determine something is wrong, and that the Foreign Minister of Peace has been missing since her visit to the X-81999 colony. 

Relena awakes in the Barton Compound laid out on a bed.  Standing she comes face to face with her captor for the first time, as she introduces herself. "My name is Mariemaia Kushrenada, I'm Treize Kushrenada's daughter." 

The first meeting between them progresses roughly with Relena's disbelief, Mariemaia's short temper flaring, and soldiers barging into the room, guns drawn...

Heero, in the shuttle with Duo heading to the colony remembers a little girl, a girl he destroyed a long time ago... and yet her memory haunts him.   He also remembers a conversation between Dr. J and Dekim Barton.

 "It is no big deal sacrificing the general public!  Got it?  Retrain him at once!  The humane feeling of kindness is unnecessary for our weapon,"

 "You're right there...But do you really believe that Heero Yuy would be pleased if we buried his humanity?"  Dr. J. 

 Meanwhile Mariemaia's war plans continue and she makes her declaration of war and independence to the earth and the colonies. 

 "We at colony X-81999 wish to declare ourselves independent of the Earth's Sphere's Unified Nation.  And at the same time declare war against the nation.  My name is Mariemaia Kushrenada; I am the daughter of Treize Kushrenada.  I'm carrying out my father's will; it's in the human consciousness to fight.  "  

 Quatre continues his journey along with the Maganac Corps to retrieve the gundams while Duo, Heero and Trowa have infiltrated the colony.  While causing various destruction inside the colony, Heero encounters Wufei, and he's sided with the enemy.  Quatre recalls when he was given sandrock...

Part II 

Heero and Wufei continue their battle, Wufei in an upgraded Altron, and Heero battling in an old purple, Leo model.  While nearby Trowa in a serpent mobile suit battles Duo, also in a Leo.  Duo remembers when he was told to abandon Operation Meteor and steal the Deathsycthe.  While Trowa remembers an argument between the original Trowa and the creator of the Heavyarms.   He convinces them to allow him to pilot Heavyarms. 

Noin and Sally discover the main troops are being housed somewhere in space and notify head quarters.  Relena and Mariemaia prepare to leave the colony heading toward earth, and Duo and Heero spot them heading toward the spaceport.  Quatre successfully retrieves the gundams and launches Heero's into space as he directs to be picked up later. 

Dekim Barton, having relocated to his secret base in space, MO III, commands the troops to be released for invasion when a mobile suit identified as Tallgeese arrives and begins destroying them.   In order to stop his attack Dekim threatens to drop the X-81999 colony into earth... the mobile suits are released and begin their dissent into the atmosphere...

Duo, Trowa, and Heero break into the control room and stabilize the colony to keep it from crashing to earth.  Duo informs Noin and sally about the colony's being stable and Preventer Wind (Miliardo) destroys MO III.  The three part ways with Heero escaping, Trowa falling back into the ranks of the Barton Army and Duo being held in confinement. 

The mobile suits arrive on earth, and Mariemaia and Relena arrive at their earth base.  Heero is reunited with wing zero, and goes to battle Wufei. 

Part III 

Heero and Wufei begin battling, while Duo escapes from his cell and meets up with Trowa and Sally.   Wufei and Heero continue to fight, each arguing their own idealism, while they fall into the atmosphere and then to earth.

Wind(Miliardo) and Fire(Noin) battle the front line of mobile suits trying to get to the Brussels Presidential residence where Relena, Mariemaia and Dekim are. 

"I do not accept Relena Peacecraft's ways... her belief that throwing away weapons and confining soldiers is wrong," - Wufei. 

Heero and Wufei battle until Heero remembers the girl again.  "How many times do I have to loose that girl and her dog?"  With that the wings of zero close and he falls into the ocean. 

Quatre, Duo and Trowa obtain their gundams and joins the two Preventer’s in fighting the Barton Army, taking care to cause no casualties.   Lady Une infiltrates the Brussels Presidential Residence in order to make it to Mariemaia and had this to say: "Does she believe this is Treize's ideal?  She doesn't realize she's merely a puppet controlled by Dekim,"

The people watch the battle on screen fearfully until Relena runs to the console and tells them: Everybody, please do not fear the image you are watching... peace is something given to everyone, you must -"

The gundams continue their advance until they can fight no longer... at this point Heero arrives in zero and contacts Dekim and Mariemaia. 

"Let me confirm, your shelter shield is activated? ... Your shelter is secure is it?"

"Of course it is.. see for yourself just how powerless you are," she replies confidently. 

"Roger that,"

Mariemaia's eyes widen in fear as he fires his beam gatlin at the shelter.   Dekim gives the order to shoot down wing zero and Relena asks: "Are you afraid Mariemaia?"

He fires a second time. 

"Stop it, don't you realize Relena Peacecraft is in here?" Dekim shouts at Heero desperately.  Heero fires a third time and breaks the shield as zero is destroyed and crashes to the ground.  Inside Lady Une arrives just in time to protect Mariemaia and Relena. 

Thousands have people have gathered and are screaming they will not obey the new leaders Lady Une speaks to Mariemaia about her father.

"While His Excellency fought loosing battles, he loves people who weren't afraid to keep their stands and fight and that is why the people are so able to accept the gundams.  It is not the victor that wins the heart of the people,"

Dekim is furious by his defeat and draws his gun to eliminate Relena, but Mariemaia, having had her ideals altered, shoves her out of the way and takes the bullet.  About to fire a second time, Lady Une and a soldier to the right of Dekim both pull their guns but the soldier fires first and hits Dekim.  The soldier then apologizes for abandoning Treize's ideals. 

Heero arrives and shoots once at Mariemaia, the chamber empty.   The battle over, all the gundams are destroyed... Zechs and Noin vanish together into outer space and Wufei joins the Preventer’s to work with Sally.   Mariemaia goes with Lady Une to Treize's grave, Duo returns to Hilde, Trowa to the circus, Quatre to his colony, Relena to Vice Foreign Minister of Peace and Heero simply leaves into the unknown...

"A.C 197 - peace has returned to the people, and from this point on in history, weapons called mobile suits including the gundams are never seen again.."
