Venus Ardanowski first appeared as a Port Charles Police Officer. She arrested Jax when he was riding his motorcycle near the Canadian Border. She was cut loose from her job as a police officer due to budget cuts. She then waitressed for a day at the Outback, but was fired. She then went to work for Jax for a while until Mac was reinstated as police chief. She then joined Mac's special police task force. Soon after, however, Jax was arrested on charges such as money laundering. V. knew that Jax was innocent, and when Jax pleaded guilty in a plea bargain in order to save his family from jail, V. became extremely disappointed in the legal system and quit her job. She soon found another one working for Ned at L&B records. Meanwhile, she began training to take up an identity as a South American Countess. V. and Jax flew to Monte Carlo with V. appearing as the financial backer (and lover) for the broke Jax.
