1. Must have something to do with the Monkees, must be characters or a story inspired by them. If it is a story inspired by them and they are not characters, please say so.

2. No graphic sex or violence. Implied sex is okay, small description okay, i.e. romance novel type. Nothing pornographic or anything that would offend younger readers.

3. No slash.

4. Crossover and alternate universe stories okay, but please mark as such.

5. No characters die. This mean that none of the Monkees die, but other characters it's okay as long as it has to do with the storyline. For example, if you wanted Mr. Babbit to die, it must affect the story in some way, i.e. the guys worry about who will be the new landlord. Personally, I think this would make an excellent story. Any volunteers?

6. Illness and injury are okay as long as it has to do with the storyline and character recovers.

7. The story may contain any of the following elements: romance, angst, comedy, mystery, etc.

8. Don't like the way a particular episode ended? Rewrite it, but please mark it as such and say which episode it is.

9. Have an idea for an episode that never was? Write it.

10. Above all else, remember this: Have Fun!
