Jordan took a deep breath. “Jimmy, there’s only one way for me to tell you
this, and that’s to come right out with it.” Jordan took another deep breath.
“Nikolas Cassadine is Nikolai’s father.”

Lucky thought for a moment. “How can I put this nicely? My dad’s been moping
around for the past six years. It’s time he learns to live again. And if
anyone can help he see that, it’s you.”

A scream tore through Wyndemere as Lesley Lu opened the box and saw the contents
within.

Chapter 8 “Catch Up Time”
Laura was in the living room when she heard Lesley Lu’s scream. She rushed out
into the hall. “Lesley Lu, what’s the matter?”
Lulu backed away from the package. Tears were streaming down her face. “Noooo!”
She sobbed.
Laura stepped to the box on the floor. She gasped when she saw what was inside.
She picked Lesley Lu up and took her into the living room. She set Lulu down on
the couch. “Stay here honey. Momma will be right back.” Then Laura went back
out into the hallway, shutting the living room door behind her. “Stefan…”
Stefan stepped out of the first floor bathroom and into the hallway. “What is
it Lasha? I thought I heard a scream moments ago?”
Laura tried to calm herself. She pointed to the box on the floor. “Look
inside. Lulu found it.”
Stefan stepped toward the box and looked inside. He studied the black kitten
inside for a moment, taking note of it’s obviously decapitated head. “Doesn’t
that cat look like…”
Laura nodded her head. “Just like Lulu’s kitten Salem that ran away last week.”

Nikolas and Emily entered the Outback together and scanned the crowd. “Well I
see my friend.” Emily said. “I guess I’ll see you later Nikolas.”
Nikolas gave Emily a quick hug. “It was good seeing you Emily. Call me. We
can have lunch or something soon.”
“Sounds good. See you later.” Emily headed toward the table Jimmy was sitting
at. She didn’t notice Nikolas heading to the same table until she got there.
“Hmmm… looks like we get to have lunch together sooner than we thought…”
“Emily, you made it.” Jimmy cried as Emily got to the table. Jimmy stood up
and gave Emily a quick kiss on the cheek. “Emily, I’d like you to meet my
sister Jordan.”
Emily smiled at Jordan. “It’s nice to meet you.”
Jordan gave Jimmy a quick glance that clearly said he’d have some explaining to
do later. “It’s nice to meet you too Emily.” Then she turned to Nikolas. “I
hope you don’t mind. I forgot I had agreed to meet Jimmy and Shawna here for
lunch.”
“I don’t mind at all.” Nikolas and Jimmy pulled another table up to the first.
Then Nikolas sat down next to Jordan. “Where’s Nikolai?”
Before Jordan could answer, Nikolai came running up to the table. “Nikolas.” He
cried and practically threw himself onto Nikolas’ lap.
“Hi.” Nikolas gave the boy a hug. He took a look at the boy’s suit. “Nice
suit there.”
Nikolai smiled proudly. For once feeling happy his mom had made him dress up.
“Thanks.”
Jordan looked at her watch then said, “Hmm… Jimmy, have you talked to Shawna
today? It’s not like her to be late.”

Jason, Sonny and Tracey were in the penthouse living room when Carly arrived,
followed by eight year old Michael and six year old Alexander. “Hello
everyone.” Carly said as she put a few shopping bags down on the floor.
Jason got up from his chair and walked over to Carly. He gave her a quick kiss,
then turned back to Sonny and Tracey. “Caroline, you remember Sonny… and this
is Sonny’s wife, my Aunt Tracey.”
Carly did her best to hide her shock. “A pleasure to meet you Aunt Tracey.”
Tracey smiled at the young woman. She instantly didn’t like her. But then when
does Tracey like anyone but herself. “Hello dear.”
Sonny knew that look on Tracey’s face and decided he should break the tension
that was filling the air before they all regretted it. “Caroline, I was just
asking Jason how Michael and Alexander were.” Sonny saw the boys standing next
to Carly. “Is this them?” Carly nodded her head. “My how you’ve both grown.”
“Boys, you remember your Uncle Sonny don’t you?” Carly asked the boys.
“Yes Mother.” The boys replied. “Hello Uncle Sonny. Hello Aunt Tracey.”

Lucy and Kevin were having a quiet lunch at the Outback. “Doc, are you sure
Melanie will be all right?” Lucy asked nervously as she tried to enjoy the food
before her.
Kevin couldn’t help but smile. “Of course she will honey. Serena knows how to
take care of her.”
Lucy sighed and took another bite of her salad. “I know. I just can’t help but
worry.” Lucy began looking around the Outback at the other customers. She
gasped as her eyes fell on the table Jordan, Nikolas, Emily, Nikolai and Jimmy
were at. “Oh my god. Doc, look.”
Kevin turned in his seat to see what Lucy was gawking at. His eyes also fell on
the table. “What’s the matter Lucy?”
“That girl,” Lucy replied. “The one sitting next to Nikolas Cassadine. Who is
she Doc? She’d be perfect for the face of Jax’s cosmetics.” Lucy squealed with
delight. “Doc, you gotta help me. She can’t say no. Please. Please. Help me
Doc. She has to be the next face of Jax’s. I’ve needed a new model since
Brenda quit. Please help me Doc.” Lucy put on her best pouty face as she begged
Kevin for his help.
“What do you honestly think I can do to help you?” Kevin asked.
“You know both Nikolas and Emily.” Lucy replied. “You could help me get an
introduction. All you have to do is walk over there with me to say hi and I’m
sure they’ll introduce us. Then I can take it from there. It will work Doc. I
know it will. I read my horoscope for today and it said great things would
happen for me today. And it has Doc. Please can we go over there? Please!!”
“All right Lucy. You win.” Kevin picked his napkin up off his lap and dabbed
at his mouth with it before placing it on the table. “Come on Lucy. Let’s get
this over with.”
“Thank you, thank you, thank you Doc.” Lucy gushed. “You are such a wonderful
man.”
Kevin took Lucy’s hand in his as they walked over to the table the young people
were at…
