Chapter 7
At the mansion the Quartermaines were waiting for Monica to arrive home from her
day at GH. They were going to discuss what to do about Alan. They just learned
that he was not at NA. But Monica was late. AJ then answered the phone and told
Emily that Monica would be late because she is working on Robin. Emily reacted
to AJ's news,
Emily: Robin's been shot?
Everyone in the room looked at her. Edward is the first one to react.
Edward: I told you that Michael doesn't belong with Jason. Everyone who is near
him gets shot and blown up. You are not to go near him young lady.
Emily: I don't believe it. Robin has been shot and all you can think of is about
how to use it to get Michael back.
AJ: That’s not true EM.
Ned: How is Robin AJ?
AJ: Amy doesn't know. She was shot in the chest and Mom is operating on her.
Edward: That sweet young girl. Getting shot because of Jason. I should let your
grandmother know. Edward gets up to head toward Lila's room. As he leaves he is
thinking about how much he cares for Robin. He has always thought of her as
another granddaughter. As he walks he makes a silent prayer) You already have
Katherine. Could you spare Robin? She is very special to me. Let her survive
please.
He arrives in Lila's room. Meanwhile Ned heads to the phone. He makes a call. As
soon as he hears the voice on the other end he says her name.
Ned: Lois?
Lois: Ned? (Lois realizes from his voice that something is wrong.) What’s wrong?
Is it Lila or Edward?
Ned: They’re feeling well. But its Robin. She is at GH.
Lois: Robin? I have been trying to call her. What’s wrong with her?
Ned: Robin was shot tonight. Monica is working on her now.
Lois: Which means that the bullet is near her heart. I am on my way.
Ned: I am sending the ELQ jet down. You can fly up on it.
Lois: Thanks Ned.
Lois hangs up the phone. She is very shocked at the news. She just spoke to
Robin a couple of hours ago and now she could be dying. She then noticed her two
guests in the room. It is a young man and his new wife. They ask her what’s
wrong. Lois looks up at Sonny and Brenda who are visiting her. She tells them
about Robin.
