Chapter 20
Jason, Lucky and Sonny were discussing what happened when Lucky last saw Robin.
Jason got angry when he found out about the guards on Robin being cancelled.
Jason was about to ask what was Robin's last request when Renaldo came in and
had news on Tony.
Jason: What is it?
Renaldo: We found Tony, Jason. He was found dead in his house. His wife and
daughter were also killed.
Jason: What happened?
Renaldo: All three were shot to death. It looks like a robbery.
Jason: Doesn't it seem a little strange that Robin is shot and then her guard
and his family are then killed. Something strange is going on here and I will
find out what it is.
Renaldo: I have everyone looking into it. I promise you that there will be
answers.
Jason: Thank you Renaldo. (Renaldo then leaves. Jason turns to Lucky.) Lucky you
said that Robin asked you for a favor. What was it?
Lucky: Yes. Robin asked me to give you something.
Jason: What?
Lucky reaches into his pocket and takes out Stone's ring. He shows it to Jason
and Sonny.
Sonny: Stone's ring. I wondered were it was. I thought that it was stolen.
Lucky: No. When I found Robin she asked me to remove the ring and give it to
Jason. She spent her last few moments of life begging me to do it. Jason, Robin
wanted me to give this to you.
Lucky hands Jason Stone's ring. Jason looks at the ring very closely. He moves
away from everyone else. Sonny looks at Lucky.
Sonny: Thank you. That ring is very special.
Lucky: That’s what she said. Take care of Jason. I know that is what Robin would
want.
Sonny: I will. See you Lucky.
Lucky leaves. Sonny watches Jason looking at the ring. After several minutes
Jason suddenly leaves the penthouse. Sonny follows him. Sonny follows Jason to
the bridge. Sonny then watches Jason.
