Chapter 22
V, Garcia, Kevin and Mac were meeting to go over the facts on Liz's rape and on
Robin's murder. Kevin had given them his thoughts on the case. As Mac went over
the name Kevin Miller. Mac asks V for what information she has on him.
V: He is a student at PCU. He is our best suspect in the case.
Garcia: Taggert brought Elizabeth Webber in for a lineup. We were hoping that
she would identify him. But she couldn't do it. How did he know Robin?
Mac: He and Robin went to High School together. He was at a graduation party at
the outback. Robin threw him out because he made some comments about people with
AIDS.
Kevin: He has a problem with people with AIDS. That could be a motive for
killing Robin.
Mac: Maybe we can get a warrant to search his place for evidence.
Garcia and V arrange to get a warrant to search Miller's apartment. Meanwhile
Emily is taking a walk though the park. She sees Nikolas sitting at a bench
looking at a spot. She sits down next to him.
Emily: Nikolas. How are you?
Nikolas: Not good Emily. I miss Robin. You know that she was killed over there.
Emily: Lucky mentioned it to me. I know that you cared for her.
Nikolas: I loved her Emily. She accepted me. And she paid for that.
Emily: What happened to her is not your fault Nikolas.
Nikolas: I didn't do more to get her away from Jason. And there is something
else.
Emily: What is it Nikolas.
Nikolas: I need to tell someone. If I tell you do you promise not to tell
anyone?
Emily: Of Course. I cross my heart. I will not tell anyone.
Nikolas looks at Emily.
Nikolas: It is my fault that Robin died. I killed her.
Emily reacts to what Nikolas just said.
