Chapter 32: X-Mas is in the Air
Stefan poured himself a glass of win and waited for the news to come on. Nikolas
was just released from the hospital but the day he found out he was in the
hospital was still going through his head. How attracted he was to Barbara
earlier, when he got that phone call. When he ran into Luke.

Stefan was at the front desk where Amy was working.
Stefan: Amy, what is my nephew's condition?
Amy: He's doing better then he was when he was brought in. Nikolas is lucky he
was rescued and brought in when he was.
Stefan: Who saved him?
Person: I did.
Stefan turned around and was surprised to see Luke.
Stefan: You?
Luke: I was driving over to my club when Nik drove off the road. I decided to
help him.

Stefan scolded as he thought about that day. How Luke rubbed it in how grateful
Laura was to Luke. It just made him sick to his stomach. He did not want to be
in debt to Luke Spencer.

Henry was at Kelly's. His shift had just gotten over and Lizzie's was just
about to start. She had just entered.
Henry: Hey Lizzie.
Lizzie: Hey Henry.
Henry: Know how Nikolas Cassadine is doing?
Lizzie: He seems to be doing all right, he was just at my house last night. What
about your cousin?
Henry: He was just released from the hospital yesterday. Nothing seems wrong so
far. According to Brenda she has some sort of big surprised for him.
Lizzie: What kind of surprise?
Henry: I don't know, but if it's anything more impressive then the eightball
keychain I got him, then I'll look pretty bad.
Lizzie: You got your cousin, the don of a mob, a key chain?
Henry: What am I supposed to get him, a convertible?
Lizzie: Like you couldn't arrange it.
Henry: Well keep this up, and I won't give you my little surprise.
Lizzie: What is it?
Henry picked up a present from behind the counter.
Henry: Seeing as now we got our schedules a little mixed up, I figured now would
be a good time to give you this.
Lizzie: If you got Sonny a key chain I can only imagine what you got me.
Lizzie took it.
Henry: Well go ahead, open it.
Lizzie did as he requested and saw a pair of earrings.
Lizzie: Earrings?
Henry: Well I didn't exactly know what was appropriate so I just got these
anyway.
Lizzie: They’re nice, but I don't know if I can except them.
Henry: Relax, they didn't cost me all that much anyway.
Lizzie: Well… I'm sorry, I didn't get you anything.
Henry: Don't worry about it. You just owe me one.
Lizzie laughed.
Lizzie: Well thank you.
Henry: Your welcome.
Henry walked out of Kelly's and got fifteen feet away when his head started
aching. Henry had to sit down for a second, his hands pressed up against his
head.
Henry: God, what the heck is wrong with me?
The headache then passed and Henry was okay. Henry got up and went home.
