Chapter 44: Helena Makes A Move
Helena and Miranda both sat in the study. Helena was sipping her tea while
Miranda sat still on the couch.
Miranda: What do you want, Helena?
Helena put her cup of tea and cleared her throat.
Helena: There is a young child fathered by Stefan. I believe a relative of his
is an old friend of yours, Sonny Corinthos.
Miranda: Sonny and I were hardly friends, but go on.
Helena: Henry is his name. I plan to get him in my possession and once I do,
Stefan will think twice before not doing what I say.
Miranda: Will Stefan even believe this Henry kid is his son?
Helena: Once I take Henry I'm sure Sally will go to Stefan for help and then
I'll confirm the story.
Miranda: How do you plan to get Henry?
Helena: That is not for you to worry about, just know I will have him by the end
of the night.

Bobbie looked at her grandchild through the window. She couldn't believe it…
her grandchild. Bobbie placed her hand on the window when she sensed someone
was behind her. Bobbie turned around to see Nikolas.
Bobbie: Nikolas, what are you doing here?
Nikolas: I found out about Caroline from my uncle… I just wanted to make sure
you were okay.
Bobbie smiled at Nikolas.
Bobbie: Thank you. I'm holding up, it's still pretty strange though. That is
my grandchild in there
Nikolas: I'm sorry my uncle kept this from you.
Bobbie: There's no reason for you to apologize for what your uncle does. I don't
know why he even bothered telling me the truth.
Nikolas: He told me it was because he loved you.
Bobbie: Loved me? That's a laugh.
Nikolas: Look, I have to go meet Sarah at Kelly's. I just wanted to let you
know that if you need me, I'll be there.
Bobbie: Thanks Nikolas… I'm glad you said that.
Nikolas smiled warmly before he left.

When Henry got out, he saw Lizzie sitting at the bar.
Henry: Hey Lizzie, how was the movie?
Lizzie: It was pretty good, you don't really even notice its three hours long.
Henry: I'm glad you had a good time. I've had a headache all day. I've taken
aspirin but it's had no effect.
Lizzie: Maybe you should see a doctor.
Henry: Nah, it's not that bad.
Lizzie: What is it with you men, you’re always toughing things out when you
should really ask for help.
Henry: Lizzie, it's a small headache, no big deal.
Henry noticed Sarah entering Kelly's.
Henry: What's she doing here?
Lizzie: She's meeting Nikolas here. He skipped out halfway through the movie to
check on something or other.
Henry: If he abandoned Barbie, it must have been pretty important. Wait, those
two were at "Titanic" with you and Gina.
Lizzie: We ran into each other in the lobby and we ended up going together. I
was against it but Gina wasn't. I think she has a thing for Nikolas.
Henry: Nikolas and Gina… hmm… sound like a cute couple, but he is dating you
sissy over there.
Lizzie: You don't think Nikolas is interested?
Henry: Not really. I mean, they've known each other for about a year and
nothing's happened yet. Also, he dated you just to get you sister jealous
enough to start dating him and get away from Lucky. Don't you remember, you
started going out with him to make Lucky jealous too?
Lizzie: Which didn't do much, Lucky still didn't notice me and we didn't realize
we were incompatible until a few nights ago on New Year's Eve.
Henry: True, not one of my better ideas. Anyway, I doubt Nikolas would have
much interest in Gina. Why do you care so much anyway?
Lizzie: I don't know, it's just that I don't want to see my sister get hurt,
even if I don't like her all that much.
Henry: Well, I haven't had any siblings to worry about such things.
Nikolas entered and went to Sarah.
Henry: Although I wish he would go with Gina, I don't know how much more of this
disgusting display of gooey eye love I can take.
Henry looks at his watch.
Henry: Awe, shift over. Time to go home.
Lizzie: I'll go with you, Gina's car almost died twice tonight, I might as well
walk home with you.

Jerry and V were in the Outback. Not too many people were there.
Jerry: So, Ms. Ardanowski, did you enjoy yourself this evening?
V: Very much. I can't wait to do it again.
Jerry: Well, the night is still young.
V: No, I have to go to get up early tomorrow.
Jerry: Very well then… Tomorrow night then?
V: Sure.
Jerry: Great, I'll see you then.
Jerry and Venus kissed.
V: Bye, Jerry.
Jerry: Goodbye Venus.
Jerry left the Outback and walked to his car. Jerry suddenly had the
overpowering feeling that he was being watched. He looked around but so no one.
Jerry just passed it off as his overactive imagination and went back to his car.
Then a man stepped out of the shadows.
Man: I've waited long enough. It's time I put my plan for revenge into action.
The man entered the Outback and watched Venus talking to the bartender until she
got her drink. He could make out the words "thank you" as she gulped it down
and headed to her room. He knew what he had to do.

Lizzie found herself lying in the snow, her head pounding and her cheek bruised.
For a second she had forgotten what had happened but then she remembered… Two
guys came out of no where and grabbed Henry. She tried to help him but on of the
guys punched her and knocked her down to the snow. Then something had hit her
over the head and that was it. She looked around and Henry was no where in
sight. He was gone.
