Part 2: Interesting Finding
Venus was in the attic of her house while everyone else was outside. The kids
were playing games, the adults chatting and V. was up in the attic to find this
one game she and her brothers played when they were kids.
Venus looked around when she found a jewelry box. It was the one that belonged
to her mother. Venus picked it up and looked at it. She remembered how she used
to open it all the time as a kid and go through the jewelry. She loved playing
dress-up with her mama's rings and necklaces.
Venus opened the box and looked on the inside. Not much different from the last
time she opened it. The last time she opened it was a few weeks after her
mother's death. She was looking at it and then Venus remembered there being a
secret compartment.
She poked through it until she finally found it. Last time, she heard her
father coming and put it away before he caught her with it. Now, years later,
that girlhood curiosity was going to be fulfilled. Venus reached in the
compartment and felt a chain. She pulled it out and in her hand she held a
medallion. Venus looked at it. On the medallion was some sort of picture.
She wondered why her mother would put this in a compartment in the jewelry box.
What was the story behind it? Venus heard her brother calling for her and
shoved it back in the box.
It was old news, no need to go looking at it anyway. She headed out the door
and met her brother, Jack, at the bottom of the stairs. It was time for her
nephew to blow out the candle.

Lizzie was walking through the halls of the mall when she saw Emily sitting
alone in the food court. Lizzie went up to Emily and said, "Hey, Emily."
Emily just sat there and gave no response.
Lizzie: Earth to Em!
Emily snapped out of it and looked at Lizzie.
Emily: Hey.
Lizzie: Where were you?
Emily: I was just thinking about something.
Lizzie sat down across from Emily at the table.
Lizzie: Nikolas told me Xavior woke up.
Emily: When did you talk to Nikolas?
Lizzie: We ran into each other earlier, we talked and he brought it up. We were
discussing that Lucky and me and you and Nikolas could double date sometime.
Emily: Are you sure Lucky will go for that?
Lizzie: Come on, Em, I'm sure with our combined forces we could get them to get
along.
Emily laughed.
Emily: Yeah, Lucky is putty in your hands and I'm sure I could persuade Nikolas.
Lizzie: Yeah… but back to the original subject. What were you so deep in
thought about when I found you? I don't want to pry, but if anything's wrong,
you can tell me.
Emily: I know I can… It's Xavior. I went to see him today and it was just a
little weird.
Lizzie: He's angry.
Emily: No, according to him he forgives me for pushing him off the docks. He
seems to understand that it was an accident. I don't really know what it was…
Lucky suddenly appeared.
Lucky: Hey, how are my two favorite women?
Emily: Great.
Lizzie: Yeah, just fine.
Lucky sat down next to Lizzie and smiled at her.
Lucky: What were you two talking about?
Lizzie: Um…(looks at Emily and then back to Lucky) We were discussing going out
on a double date.
Lucky: You mean you and Emily going out with me at once. Hmm… I'm not sure
about that…
Lizzie: Hey! You know what I mean.
Lucky: Me and Nikolas in the same room.
Emily: Well, you two could stand each other pretty well a few months ago.
Lucky: That's only because we were both worried about Lizzie.
Lizzie: Come on, just one night. For me…
Lucky: No way, neither of you two could possibly convince me.
[Two minutes later…]
Lucky: Oh, all right, I'll do it!
Lizzie and Emily smiled at each other and the Emily looked to Lucky.
Emily: We knew you'd see the light.

Stefan was at the hospital to conduct business and had bumped into Alexis.
Stefan: Alexis.
Alexis: Stefan.
Stefan: What are you doing here?
Alexis: I came here to see how Xavior was doing. Emily Quartermaine is a good
friend of my daughter's. If Xavior is hurt, Emily is hurt which means Lizzie is
hurt as well.
Stefan: Well, don't let me stand in the way.
Alexis: Stefan, how long is this going to go on?
Stefan: I have not set up a date. I can only assure you that it will not end
now. How can I forgive you for what you did?
Alexis: Stefan, she was only supposed to be out of your life, I never meant for
her to be dead.
Stefan: The Natasha facade is enough for me to hold a grudge. Making me think I
was in love with my SISTER. Making me believe I was some sick, perverted fool.
Not only did it break Katherine and me up but she died because she was to far to
be under my protection. Just tell me this, Alexis. Is there even a Natasha or
was the entire thing a hoax.
Alexis: Yes, there is a Natasha. Who this Natasha is, I don't know. Most likely
long dead.
Stefan: I'll take your word for that. Hopefully, if I grow attached to someone
else they won't surprisingly turn out to be my sister as well.
Stefan gave her a stern look.
Alexis: I was only trying to do what was best for the family.
Stefan: I can decide what's best for me, thank you very much.
Alexis: What about me, huh? I manipulated my relationship with Ned just as much
as I did with you and your sex kitten.
Stefan: Whatever I may have done pales in comparison, and don't you DARE speak
of her so illy now that she is unable to defend herself… because of a devious
plot you enforced.
Alexis: I'm sorry, Stefan.
Stefan: I have no time for this.
Stefan walked away and Alexis took a deep breath. One day he would forgive her,
it just would not be today.

A man placed the bomb under the patient's bed and timed it. He walked away with
a gigantic smile upon his face. Revenge would be his.
