**TWO WEEKS LATER**
Brenda is out of the hospital and is now seeing Liz very frequently since now
that they have had the same experience. Brenda is still engaged to Jax and
still living in his penthouse. Bobbie and Stefan haven't seen each other since
that ''night'' together. Katherine is now about 3 months pregnant, and Laura is
2 months pregnant. Sonny is out of the hospital, feeling healthier everyday and
more determined to get Brenda back. Sonny and Jax try to avoid each other.
Brenda is walking with shopping bags in both hands with sunglasses on, it is a
very sunny and beautiful day out, she is on her way home. As she crosses the
street, a car rides out of nowhere and hits Brenda. Her screams echo as the car
hit tosses her high into the air and lands behind the car. The man who drove the
car got out and ran to her.
Man: Brenda! Oh God!
The man takes out his cell phone and calls 911,disgusing his voice. After he
hangs up, he gets in his car and speeds away, determined to be unknown. On his
way back to his home, he stops and throws his phone into the river, so he
wouldn't be notified in any way. Within minutes later a herd of police and a
couple of ambulances. Brenda is taken to the hospital.
**AT GENERAL HOSPITAL**
Liz and Lucky rush in the ER. Lucky spots Bobbie and guides Liz over to her.
Lucky: Bobbie, we heard about Brenda. What's wrong?
Bobbie: It's not looking too good at all, Lucky.
Liz: Oh God, he can't die, Lucky. She just can't!
Lucky hugs Liz.
Lucky: It will be ok, Liz. I promise you, everything will be all right.
Liz: She has always listened to me, and I have listened to her.
Jax and Sonny run in, as if on a race, with Stefan following behind, but
walking. Bobbie walks over to Stefan
Bobbie: Oh Stefan, everyone is so upset.
Stefan: What has happened, Barbara?
Bobbie: Brenda Barrett has been in a car accident, it's pretty bad.
Stefan: I'm sorry Barbara, is she one of your good friends?
Bobbie: Not a good friend. But a friend.
Sonny walks over to Bobbie and Stefan. Stefan looks at him strangely.
Sonny: Is she going to be ok?
Bobbie: The last I looked, Sonny she doesn't look good at all.
Sonny: She's… she's going to die.
Bobbie: Sonny, it could be possible that she could.
Liz runs out of Brenda's room, cause she had gone in to see her.
Liz: Sonny! Jax! She's awake!
Sonny and Jax race to the door. Brenda smiles when she sees them.
Brenda: Hey.
Sonny notices that there is something different about Brenda, but he can't put
his finger on it. He figures it was probably just waking up in the hospital.
Bobbie walks in and checks up on Brenda.
Bobbie: Hmm… Brenda have you had any kind of pain?
Brenda: No.
Bobbie: When you first checked in here, you looked pretty bad. But you seem to
be doing fine ever since you woke up. That's a good sign. I'll ask Monica if she
thinks you should get out very soon.
Bobbie walks off with Stefan watching her every move.
Stefan: I am very happy for you, Miss Barrett.
Brenda smiles a sexy smile.
Brenda: Why thank you, Mr. Cassadine.
Stefan walks out after Bobbie, but Katherine steps in front of him.
Katherine: Stefan, we really have to talk about this baby.
**IN BRENDA'S ROOM**
Brenda: I don't care what Monica says, I am gonna get outta here.
Jax: Don't you think you should have permission first?
Brenda: I don't care honey, I am leaving.
Bobbie walks in.
Bobbie: Brenda, Monica says as long as it's ok with me, and she thinks that you
should get out tomorrow.
Brenda: Bobbie, could it be possible that you could get me out, say… TODAY?
Bobbie: Hmm...I'll try.
Bobbie walks out and sees Stefan and Katherine. A little hurt she walks off to
do her business.
