Emily stood in the middle of Dr. Burt's research lab and looked at the computer
screen in disbelief.
Emily: So what you're saying is that the computer picked up that dimensional
doorway pattern thing and it showed the location as to where it was taking
place.
Gina: Correct.
Emily: You came here because of a freak accident?
Gina: Dr. Burt said the first transdimentional transfer just ripped an opening
between the two dimensions so every now and then someone is just randomly sent
here.
Emily: Is that what happened to the others and me?
Gina: At first, I considered that, but the rip has never been able to transport
two at a time, let along six. I think someone back from the home dimension
found out about the original technology and has been manipulating it. Why, I
have no clue.
Emily: Is there anyway back?
Gina: Dr. Burt had been unsuccessful in his attempts to send me back to our home
dimension. We may spend the rest of our lives her… but, then again, your rip
has created some sort of stability. I think it's possible to find a way in and
out, but Dr. Burt is dead and I don't even know where to begin.
Gina looked over at the clock.
Gina: You must be tired. You can stay in my room, I'll take the guest one.
Emily nodded and let Gina lead her into her room for the night. They would have
to talk to everyone else as soon as day came.

Tony paced around as Alexis sat at the couch.
Tony: So what you're telling me is that you magically woke up in this dimension
because of a device created by your family.
Alexis: Yes, it's the truth.
Tony stood next to where Alexis was sitting.
Tony: You expect me to believe that?
Alexis: It's the truth.
Tony: So where is my wife?
Alexis: In my dimension, I guess.
Tony sat down next to Alexis.
Tony: Okay, fine… I'll buy your story, but let me tell you now… I better get my
wife back in one piece, or there'll be hell to pay.
Alexis: I understand.
Tony smiled.
Tony: Good. You can sleep on the couch tonight.
Alexis: All right, but Tony, do NOT tell anyone else about this. We need to
keep up the appearance of a happy couple.
Tony: Fine, just as long as Alexis is okay.
Tony got up to get a blanket and a pillow from his room for Alexis when there
was a knock at the door.
Tony: I'll get it, you stay here.
Alexis: Who would come by at this time?
Tony opened the door.
Tony: Frisco.
Frisco: Hello, bro.
The brothers hug. Alexis stood up. She remembered hearing that name before…
then it hit her. She read that he was Tony's brother in the diary.
Frisco: Hey, Lexi.
Alexis: Hello.
Tony: What are you doing here?
Frisco looked at Tony.
Frisco: I came for a visit. I was going to come over in the morning, but every
hotel in P.C. is booked. Can I stay here?
Tony looked at Alexis.
Tony: Uh…
Alexis: Of course you can stay here.
Frisco: Great.
Tony and Alexis looked at each other. How were they going to manage this?
