-Chapter-10-"Who?"
The woman was tired when she entered the room. She had gotten so little rest
last night. She looked at the readings and monitors and saw that the people she
sent to the other dimension late last night were still in good health. She
grinned. Now she was so much closer to her goal. She turned around when she
heard the door open. It was her partner and crime and her father.
Woman: Hello, father.
Father: Why have you brought me here, daughter?
Woman: I need your help.
Father: This young man failed to mention what you need help with.
Woman: Remember the parallel dimension project you were working on?
Father: No! Do not tell me that is what you need me for. I told you before, my
daughter, I dumped that project a long time ago.
Woman: Father, you don't understand, I need to go into the other dimension and
get something.
Father: What could you possible get in the other dimension? Whatever it is, it
can't be worth it.
Woman: Trust me father, it is. Now, I'm going to do this with or without you.
Father: What would your mother say?
Woman: She would be against it and trust me father, you do not want to tell her
about this. If she found out why I was going, she would freak.
Her father raised an eyebrow.
Father: And why would she freak?
Woman: Let's just say there are some things you don't know yet.
Her father thought for a second.
Father: Oh, all right! What do you want me to do?
Woman: I need you to send me to the dimension which Dr. Burt caused a rip in
when he was accidentally sent there. No one will be coming here because
according to the netlink one of my men was able to link to the other dimension,
I can't even exist. I already have some people there…
Father: You what? Without consulting me?
Woman: I'm sorry, but I had no choice. I had to throw some people into the
other dimension to test it out and also help me when I'm over there.
Father: Do these people even know why they're there?
Woman: When I explain everything to them, I'm sure they will understand.
Man: Wait a minute.
The woman jumped. She had forgotten about the man, so it startled her when he
started talking.
Man: I thought they weren't supposed to know about you?
Woman: When I was trying to sleep last night, I was thinking it would be easier
just to come clean with them when I get there rather then play games. It won't
work your way.
Man: And when were you planning on telling me?
Woman: I was going to…
Father: Ahem!
The man and woman looked at her father.
Father: Could we get this over with?
Woman: Of course… I've got a meeting to attend.
The woman led the man and her father into the other room where she would be
transported. The door opened in the room they were just in and Kevin entered.
He was very puzzled as to what was going on.
Kevin: I have a sister? What the hell is going on here?

Robin entered her big office to see Nikolas and Brenda fooling around. Their
giggling made her nauseous.
Robin: Nikolas, don't you have work to do?
Nikolas straitened himself out.
Nikolas: Yes, of course. Sorry boss.
Nikolas started walking walked away when Brenda patted his butt. He jumped, but
continued walking. Brenda sat on the end of Robin's desk.
Brenda: So, when's this mystery person supposed to show up?
Robin: First of all, I do not want you to EVER AGAIN bring Nikolas into my
office for this sex game you two play. Second, I have no idea.
Brenda smiled as she jumped off her desk, proud of her infatuation with Nikolas.
Robin sat at her desk and leaned back in her chair.
Brenda: You know, Robin, you have been rather uptight since you received that
call.
Robin: I know, it's just that I don't like this situation. Something is really
off about this woman who called me, I know it.
Before Brenda could reply, this great white light filled up the room.
Robin: What the hell is going on?
Brenda: How should I know?!
The light in the room retracted into the center and the form of a person started
taking shape, electric beams spiraling around this person. Then a female form
started to take shape. When the electricity started to wear out, the light
faded away and there stood the woman.
Woman: Hello, Ms. Scorpio.
She smiled. Robin stood up.
Robin: WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?
Brenda pulled out a gun and pointed it at her. The woman looked at Brenda
holding the gun all calm and started laughing.
Brenda: What's so funny?
Woman: If only you knew… (She stopped laughing) Look, I come from another
dimension. I need your help. There is something I need to get which I will
help you get if you help me with what I need.
Robin: And exactly what do you need?
Woman: Access to the frost mechanics. I'll help you get it, I'll show you how
it works. Then you let me use it for just one little thing and then I'll leave
you alone.
Robin: How can I trust you?
Woman: Couldn’t hurt.
The woman smiled.
Brenda: Maybe if you are a little more elaborate on how you could be from
another dimension, how you plan to help us and what you plan to do, Ms. Scorpio
will help you.
The woman sighed.
Woman: Very well… Where would you like me to start?
Robin: How about your name?
Woman: Miranda. Miranda Jameson.

Kevin left Victor watching these monitors and was working his way through the
warehouse. He wanted to stay and find out what was going on, but knew he needed
some help. He eventually found himself in this one hallway which there was this
great big glass with light pouring out of it. He peeked in and saw Luke, V,
Alexis, Emily and two girls he had never seen before. What were they doing in
there?
