Chapter 6
Robin was still on the bridge of the Enterprise. She had learned of Helena's
involvement in keeping Tony out of Jail. Captain Picard had suggested that
Michael be watched.
Robin: I have an idea Captain.
Picard: What is it Robin?
Robin: Michael is currently living with Jason Morgan. Everyone thinks that he is
the father. He and I dated. We broke up. We can get back together. That would
put me in position to watch over Michael.
Picard: I am grateful for that. But I wouldn't want you to be with someone you
broke up with.
Robin: I still love him Captain. And I know that he loves me. I broke up with
him because I was afraid of him dying. He was shot in my house. I told him that
I was going to Paris. But I went to Starfleet Academy instead. And with him
being in this plane crash I realize that I want him back. And there is another
reason why being with Jason would be good for us.
Riker: What?
Robin: Jason's penthouse has a secret room. In it is a Starfleet Computer and
other Starfleet Materials. I haven't been able to get to it.
Picard: Make it so. Number 1, Counselor, I want you two to provide Robin with
any help she might need. Is there anything else?
Robin: I have been thinking about this. It looks like we have a delayed timeline
reaction. That seems to suggest that a child is involved. We need to keep an eye
on the kids of Port Charles.
Picard: Agreed. What do you suggest?
Robin: We need to get someone who can watch the teenager of Port Charles. Maybe
one of the teenagers on board can help us.
Picard: I don’t want to use the children here.
Crusher: What about Wesley? He is on board.
Robin: Wesley Crusher?
Crusher: You know him?
Robin: I was his history tutor at the Academy. He would be perfect.
Picard calls for Wesley. A minute later Wesley arrives.
Wesley: Cadet Crusher reporting as ordered sir.
Picard: We need you to join an away team to earth. Counselor Troi and Commander
Riker will be joining you there with Robin Scorpio who is the field Historian.
Wesley: Robin?
Robin: Hi Wes.
Wesley hugs Robin.
Wesley: Its great to see you Robin.
Robin: Its nice to see you to Wes.
Picard: Counselor, Number 1 you two should be aware that while on Earth Robin
will outrank you. A historian outranks everyone including me. Is that clear?
Troi and Riker: Yes sir.
Picard: That’s all.
Crusher: Robin, I would like to examine you in sickbay. Since 20th century
medicine is so primitive. I think that it would be a good idea for you to be
given a proper examination.
Robin: All right. (To Troi, Riker and Wesley.) I would like to brief Wesley on
the situation. I will see you three after I finish my examination.
Robin then leaves for sickbay.
