Samantha Gene Brady and Eric Roman Brady have a unique bond that transcends regular sibling relationships. They are fraternal twins, children of Marlena Evans and Roman Brady. Sami, named after her mother's sister Samantha Evans, and a good friend of the family, Eugene Bradford, is the elder of the twins. Eric, named for his uncle Eric Brady, and his father, Roman, is a few minutes younger. Sami and Eric were kidnapped by Stefano when they were younger, and in an attempt to keep them safe, Marlena sent her babies to live with her parents in Colorado in 1992. But Sami returned in 1993, having gained 7 years due to S.O.R.A.P.S. (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Process Syndrome). She wreaked havoc on her own in Salem for four and a half years until her brother joined her in time to stop her wedding to Austin Reed. Eric did his best to rehabilitate Sami, trying to make her see the error of her ways, but Sami's stubborn streak neutralized any positive effect Eric might have had on her. If there was one thing the two were truly united in, it was getting their parents back together. Sami hated John Black and had even tried to sell Belle on the black market once because her half-sister was John's, not Roman's daughter. She witnessed the act of lust that created Belle and made it her goal to repay her mother for each and every one of her shortcomings, whether it be Marlena's favoring of Carrie, or her passion for John, or her love for Belle. Eric, on the other hand, just resented the fact that his mother had feelings for a man who was not his father. Even though John Black had raised Sami and Eric from the time they were two until they were sent away, that was sublimated to the fact that the twins wanted to have a family composed of their birth parents. Eric even went so far as to take a swing at John when he got especially angry with him. Sami has been the more pivotal of the twins, and most of the action in Salem including them revolves around her. When she landed her job at Titan (courtesy of Kate Roberts via blackmail), Smai arranged a new campaign to refresh the aging magazine, Bella. She hired Nicole Walker as her model, and provided Eric with a job. She and Eric worked closely together for a few months as Nicole and Franco Kelly became close with them. Unfortunately, Eric was too involved in chasing Nicole to realize that Franco was only after Sami for a greencard, while Sami was too busy with Franco to become suspicious of Nicole's rather shady past. Together, the two of them might have uncovered problems with each other's chosen mate in time to save themselves a lot of grief. Eric was going to be Franco's best man, Nicole was to be Sami's maid of honor. Sami said to Franco once that she would like to name their first son Eric, should she and Franco ever have children, that's how close her bond is with her brother.

Would either Sami or Eric be of assistance in the formation of B&H, Inc.?

Both are Carrie's siblings through their shared father, Roman Brady, and both have an interest in Carrie's life. Sami likes the idea of Carrie getting involved wih Mike, if for nothing more than to free up Austin to take on more parental privileges with Will. Eric, on the other hand, has been suspicious of Mike since he met him at Carrie's wedding. Even though Mike promised he would do nothing to inhibit the ceremony from taking place, Eric would still be wary of him. In observing Mike, Carrie and Austin, Eric might be seeing the triangle that developed between his mother, his father, and John Black.
