The phone rang at CBW, in Sunnydale, California at 9 AM, just as Willow had hung up her
tweed blazer and was walking to the coffee.  She debated going on, but decided to answer it.

"Council of British Watchers, west.  This is Willow."  Her accent was more clipped than her
California upbringing could produce.

"Good morning, love," came the rather sleepy voice on the other end.

"It's late, your time.  Sweetheart, if you don't get some sleep, you'll be jetlagged for a week
when you get home.  What can I do for you?  Annual meeting report?"  She leaned back in her
chair and turned on the computer, wincing at the slight twinge in her back.

"The Slayer Memorial Service ran long.  I had to give Buffy's eulogy."

"Oh, darling, no wonder you can't sleep."

"It's no comfort that two more followed it."

"Two?  We lost Aisha?"

"Day before yesterday.  And hence Marta is called."

"And do you think she's up to it?  I mean Wesley wasn't exactly a bundle of confidence when he
left us."

"He's grown in the last 3 years.  I think she'll do as well as expected.  The rest was just business
meetings and other dreary stuff.  Do you know what I really need, my love?"

"Erm, Vatsayana 112?"

"Good thinking love.  A bit direct perhaps."

"Ok, Canticles 4-6."

"A good Jewish girl like you isn't supposed to read that until you're 35," he clucked.

She laughed.  "I'm an old married lady and unshockable.  Right then, Asheeda 225."

"Bloody tantric work gives me neck cricks."

"I'll just rub them out for you."

"Uppity wench, Roquelaure I, 64."

Willow giggled.  "Sardi chapter  12," she riposted.

"I really don't think you're up to that."

"You never know what I'm up to.  Last night I went dancing with Cordelia, Xander and Angel."

"You're not doing a chapter 12 without me are you?  If you are, De Sade 425."

"Ouch," Willow agreed.  "Volange 75."

"And in your condition, you are definitely not up for trapeze work."

Willow ran one hand over the slight swell of her stomach.  "Only 4 months, my darling.  I meant
175."

"Much better.  I can sleep now, love.  I'll see you in three days."

"Hurry home, please, Rupert."  It still tasted odd to call him by his first name.  "I love and miss
you."

Note:
Vatsayana is the author of the Kama Sutra.  Page 112 begins the chapter "On methods of congress."

Canticles is another name for Song of Solomon, some very erotic Hebrew love poetry.
(you'll find it in your Bible just after Proverbs)  Chapter 4-6 is the Shulamite maiden describing her lover.

Asheeda is totally my invention.  It's a tantric sex magick text.

A N Roquelaire is the pen name by which Anne Rice wrote her erotic Sleeping Beauty trilogy.  In Volume 1, on page 64, Beauty gets a sound spanking.

Sardi is the author of _Erotic Love Through the Ages_.  Chapter 12 deals with orgies.

The Marquis deSade wrote very violent, perverse erotica from which we get the word sadism.  I don't know which book or what is on page 425.  Let's just say it appeals to Giles' Ripper side...

Volange is another invention.  Apparently very comprehensive.

Wire-tapping Slayerettes are dashing for their library now.
