Hope smashed
Stolen from beneath my soul
Hope for more, for better
For light, love
Dreams that will not fade with daybreak

But the dreams are gone again
I stand along with memories
Of other revelations
Other dreams shattered
Heartbreak beyond comfort
Beyond heartbreak

I lost all my dreams once
I will not again
I could not live through it

No more hope then
