You Just Have to Blink

Willo walked through the school corridors noticing the changes. She stepped into the library, when a blond girl flung her arms around her. It was Buffy. "Willow!!" Willow smiled at her best friend, at her secret surprise. The others were gathered in a corner.

Buffy looked more grown up now. The childness had gone from her face, her hair was long and her eyes were blue. But her best friend was still there she could tell. "Your eyes!" Willow looked shocked. Buffy grinned and said "Colour contacts. Thought I needed a change when mum died." Willow nodded sympathetically.

Xander and Cordelia were next for hugs.

Cordelia had cut her long hair off to her shoulders. Her taste in clothes had gone up to expensive much. Xander's taste in clothes had become remarkably better. And their little girl Alex. Ivory complexion and dark pigtails. Slender with Cordy's beautiful big brown eyes. " She's soo sweet Cordy!" Willow smiled.

Then Jenny came up to her. With Giles. Both exactly how she'd left them. "Ohhh Giles!" she said as he hugged her. Willow pulled back and said slyly "I found three people who helped a lot through the Boca Del Infeiro." Anya walked in, hair bouncing, smiling cheerily. Then irrepressible Oz. And then..... Angel came in. The same as always. "Hey." Buffy flew into his embrace. Tears were streaming down her face. Giles smiled at the girl's acceptation of the lover who'd fled at the sight of a proper relationship.

"We're all together. It's been six long years." Cordelia said in awe. "Doesn't seem like six years." Anya said smiling. " If you look back now you think WOW I'm glad I didn't blink!" Xander said. Laughter echoed down the hall.
