NOTE:

When reading Dallas 2020 you may notice some differences between it and RTS. Although both Fan-Fics try to stay together, that just isn’t possible all the time. Please don’t try and compare the two, it could get confusing. Thank you.

Christopher sat in his office; he had just gotten off the phone with Charlie. He was telling her about the current events that have been going on at the office. She agreed that they should have a meeting of all the shareholders to decide about the presidency.

"Mr. Ewing, Mr. Dooley is here." Kim, Christopher's sectary called on the intercom.

"Alright, show him in please." Christopher sat up in his chair and tried to look busy. Kim opened the door and let Dan Dooley walk in before her.

"Will there be anything else?" Kim asked.

"No, thank you." Christopher said has he stood up. "Thank you for meeting me on short notice Mr. Dooley."

"No, problem Mr. Ewing." Dan sat down in front of Christopher’s desk. "I do wonder why you called me in so early, our meeting wasn't until next week."

"Well, to be frank Mr. Dooley sir. I need this deal now." Christopher leaned up in his chair.

"Yeah, word is that Ewing Oil may be in trouble again...And well, sir if that is true..." Dan was cut off.

"Now wait, we are in the middle of a situation, but this deal will help secure my part. We shake and sign today, and the deal is solid."

"I can remember my grandfather talking about the wildcat days with your grandfather. If He could trust Jock, then I'll trust you."

The two men shook hands and enjoyed a drink.

Lucas sat at the Cattlemen's bank waiting to see the loan officer, Ed Marcel. He was cutting it close, the Memorial Service for the lost Ewing was in about an hour, but Lucas had to stop by here first.

“Mr. Wade.” The receptionist said. “Mr. Marcel will see you now.” Lucas walked into the office and was greeted by Ed Marcel.

“Mr. Wade, what can I do for you?”

“I need a loan.”

“Okay, I’m guessing it must be a pretty good size loan or you wouldn’t be here.

“Yes, I need a Fifty Thousand Dollar loan.” Lucas said nervously.

“Fifty Thousand huh? What kind of collateral do you have?”

“Well, right now I don’t really have any, but it is a known fact that I will be getting a third of The Krebbs Ranch. I would be willing to put that up. That is worth more that Fifty Thousand.”

“Mr. Wade, with the history your family has with this bank, I think that we can make a deal.” Ed shook Lucas’s hand and pulled out the loan papers.

People were arriving at Southfork in numbers. Today was going to be the day that marked an end of a legacy. It was the memorial services for J.R., Ray, and Donna. The entire Family would be there. As the time was drawing nearing, neither John Ross, nor Christopher was there.

"I wonder where they are?" Karen said, looking around.

"I don't know, but I bet John Ross is still having his fit." Pamala replied, grinning.

"I still don't believe that you did that." Karen looked at Pam and they both laughed.

Bobby and Pam had flown in a few hours later, and had met Gary and Val at the airport. Bobby was going to be the first one to speak at the service. Bobby walked up to the podium.

"Ladies and gentle men." Bobby said speaking into the microphone. "I think that most of us are here, I think it might be time to get started.

About that time John Ross turned down the drive, followed by Christopher, both stopped at the entrance and let the valet have the cars. Christopher looked at John Ross and noticed the hateful look.

“John I….” Before Chris could say anything, he was cut off by his father’s voice.

“Well, I think that we are all here now. I would like to start by saying that….” Bobby continued and Christopher went up to Karen.

“Where have you been?” Karen asked, kissing Christopher.

“I had to secure a business deal.” Christopher and Karen sat down and listened to Bobby.

“And now, I would like to hand the microphone over to John Ross.” Bobby stepped aside and let John Ross have the podium.

“Thank you Uncle Bobby.” John Ross started talking about his child hood days, and about his Father.

As John Ross gave his speech, Christopher got up and approached Charlie.

“Hi Sis,” Christopher gave Charlie a kiss on the cheek. “I know this might not be a good time, but, I really think we need to talk.”

“Ok, let’s go over here.” Charlie and Christopher walked over behind a planted tree to talk.

John Ross was just wrapping things up, when Chris and Charlie finished.

“….And so, that’s why, we are going to have this monument of my father, Ray, Donna, and Grandpa Jock, as a reminder of the fallen Ewings.” John Ross stepped down and Bobby approached the podium once more.

“Thank you John Ross. That will about do it please stay for refreshments. Thank you all for coming.” Bobby stepped down off the stage, and, after being stopped by about ten people, he headed towards Christopher.

Sam Starr was sitting in the conference room shifting through papers when the phone buzzed.

"Yes?" Sam said.

"There’s a Mr. Marcel here to see you, he’s from the Cattlemen’s Bank."

"Oh? Please show him in." Sam stood up and went to the door.

Mr. Ed Marcel walked into the conference room and was greeted by Starr.

"Mr., Marcel, what can I do for you?" Sam went over to the bar; "Can I get a drink?"

"No, thank you, and I believe I can do something for you." Ed sat down and opened his brief case.

"Tell me, what can you do for me?" Sam sat down across from Ed.

"I've heard from the grapevine that you want to get the Ewings. I think I can help. I have here a loan that was just taken out by Lucas Wade."

"So? He doesn't have anything to do with Ewing Oil."

“That’s true. However. He does own One Third of the Krebbs Ranch, which has oil under it, and, if our research is correct, he will have a small percent of Ewing Oil.” Ed looked at Starr.

“And you are here because?”

“His Loan is for sale sir.”

“I see,” Sam sat and thought for a minute. “Tell ya what, after that Will is read, come back, and if you were right, then you have a deal.” Sam stood up and walked to the door.

“Thank you Mr. Starr. You’ll be hearing from us.” Ed walked out of the office, leaving a very sastisfied Sam Starr.

Bobby pulled Chris, Charlie and Lucas aside and pulled out a group of papers.

Bobby pulled Chris, Charlie and Lucas aside and pulled out a group of papers. “Ok, since I have you all together, Pam and I have been talking, and we’re going to give you all a part of Southfork, splitting it up four ways. Plus, I’m giving up my shares of Ewing Oil.” Bobby looked at his children. “Dad, why?” Christopher asked, confused. “Because, it’s time. Momma and Clayton handed over the Ranch to me, and I am handing it over to you.” “But why give it to all four of us? Lucas and I will have a part of Rays Ranch.” Charlie said. “That’s right,” Lucas added. “They deserve it all.” “I have thought about it long and hard. When Momma and Clayton gave me the Ranch, J.R. was really upset. I think that may be one of the reasons he left. I can’t do that to my children. Now if you guys want to sell or give or shares to them. I won’t say anything.” Bobby gave his children copies of the deed, and gave them all hugs.

Betsy walked up to her brother.

“Bob, I think that if we are going to try anything, that this may be the time, with the Wills being read, the company is going to be easy.”

“I think you’re right, but I don’t want to hurt the family.” Bobby looked at his sister.

“You’ve had a change of heart?” Betsy asked.

“No, but I just thin we need to think this through and make sure, that when we take over, the whole family isn’t going to ban us.”

“Bobby, that company is rightfully ours, just as it is Christopher’s and John Ross's. Just because our Daddy didn’t work there very long, doesn’t mean.”

“I know, don’t worry, when the shares are split up, and the family is in an uproar, we’ll make our move.” Bobby and Betsy walked over to the bar to get a drink.

Gary walked up to where Molly and Lucy were sitting on the patio.

“Well, girls, I think that we’re going to be leaving soon.” Gary said as he sat down.

“Why daddy?” Lucy asked.

“Well, the service is over, and we just don’t feel we need to stick around.”

“But Dad, The reading of the Wills.” Molly responded looking at Gary.

“Those Wills won’t effect me, but I do want to talk to you two and your brother and sister, you know where they are?”

“I just saw them earlier.” Lucy said.

“That’s ok, I’ll tell you two. A few days before Ray left for South America, I gave him my eight percent of the company.”

“You what!?” Lucy said.

“Honey, I already got what I sat out to do. I got my children shares of the company.” Gary looked at his two daughters. They’re sat his first born, and his last.

“I understand daddy, but why are you telling us this. I’m sure that the Will will cover it.” Lucy said.

“I doubt it, He wouldn’t have had time to update it. So I have given the proxy to Mr. Bennett. And told him to do what he thought was best.” Gary handed the papers to Lucy and stood up.

“When are you leaving daddy?” Molly asked.

“Don’t worry, I’ll come find you before we leave.” Gary walked away, and both Molly and Lucy looked at each other, then the papers.

Frankie had managed to sneak onto Southfork and hide behind a bush. He sat there for hours until he saw Megan. She was so beautiful; she had been talking to some friends. After a few minutes, she walked off, and headed towards the front of the Ranch. As Megan walked around the corner, Frankie grabbed her arm, and covered her mouth.

“Shhhh, just listen to me.” Megan was pulling, trying to get away from Frankie. “Now, Megan, if I let you go, you have to promise to be quiet. Okay?” Megan shook her head and Frankie let her go. She was about to scream, but something told her not too. “Megan, I love you, it’s true that Father had plans for us. But I fell in love with you. I love you, and I always will.”

Megan stood looking at the ground, then she looked up and Frankie. Frankie looked so sad. Like his heart was really broken.

“Frank…I, I love you too. But what about your father?”

“I told him to back off. I’m done with him and his business. All I want is you.” Frankie walked closer to Megan. Megan looked at him. And she too, got closer. The two kissed and wrapped their arms around each other.

Off to the side of the house, Molly stood still, making sure not to make a sound. She leaned her head just a little, just enough to see Megan and Frankie kissing.

“Poor little cousin,” Molly thought to herself. “If only you knew….” She walked back towards the pool with an evil grin on her face.
