Ewing Oil is now, the biggest Oil Company in Texas, the third in the U.S. And 7th in the World. A few years ago, Ewing Oil acquired Westar. How? John Ross asks for backers. J.R., Bobby, Christopher, John Ross, James, and even Charlie bought up all the shares, and merged it with Ewing. J.R. and Bobby, both feeling old, gave up the right to be CEO and offered to let Christopher and John Ross run it side by side. Neither Charlie, nor James wanted to be involved in the company. Ewing Oil has just merged with Ewing of California, Gary’s company. That will give his children four shares each. Ewing Oil has also merged with Wentworth Industries. After a tornado ripped through Dallas and deystroyed the Offices that housed Ewing Oil, A new Ewing was built. In the main lobby there is a big oil derrick with water gushing out, like oil, and three statues standing underneath. Along with that, there is a plaque that reads: Ewing Oil; Founded in 1930, by John (Jock) Ross Ewing Sr., Willard (Digger) Barnes, and Jason (Tumbleweed) Ewing. . The company has been ran very well, except for a few times that John Ross has caused problems. But will the peace last? .
The Dallas Towers. After the Dallas tornado, the Dallas Towers were built. The Towers were built from the same plans that the West Starr building was. The Middle and highest tower is home to Starr Oil. That tower is the secondest biggest building in Dallas. When Sam Starr came to Dallas in the mid 1990’s, he didn’t have much. He started a small Oil company, and through luck, he has become one of the biggest independent Oilmen in Dallas, and a huge threat to the Ewings. Starr Oil has made a name for it self for acquiring the WestStar theory…by up all the little guys. Now that Sam has gotten bigger than he had dreamed, he has one thing in mind. TO bring down the Ewings. In a feud that started nearly 200 years ago Sam Starr hopes that’ll someday he will bring Ewing Oil down.
Wades of Paris used to be a fabulous Clothing store, until Charlie Wade stop caring and let it go down. After a visit from a friend, Charlie decided to make Wades into an everyday name. Charlie redid the clothing store and has made Wades a very popular clothing/restraunt/Bar. Charlie reopened her Paris store and decided that if Wades would do well there, that it would do well anywhere. Charlie took Wades and opened one up in London. After the success there, she decided it was time to go back home and open up a Wades in Dallas. Charlie hired Pamela Rebecca to manage the store for her. Now it seem everyone in Dallas is either eating at, or wearing, “Wades of Dallas.”
