Lucas Wade is a very handsome, intelligent man. His mother, Jeanna Wade Krebbs, died in his mid-teens. He is the natural son of Bobby Ewing, although he was unaware of this until the time of his mother’s death. His mother and her husband, Ray Krebbs, raised him. He considers Ray to be his dad. His sister, Charlie, has also been a wonderful influence in his life. During his college days at SMU, where he was a star quarterback and a well-known ladies man, he met his wife Amy Vickers. In 2008, on Lucas’ twenty-fifth birthday, they were married and are happily married to this day. Lucas has used his money and intellect and has risen to the top of the oil business. He owns 49% of Jensen Oil, the head of one of Europe’s largest cartels, and acts as CEO of the company. His only regret is not being able to participate in Ewing Enterprises. His half-brother, Christopher, who is Co-President of the company, is very jealous of Lucas because he is Bobby’s natural son. Whatever it takes, Jock’s empire will one day belong to Lucas. Lucas has a wonderful life in Europe, but lately he feels like it’s time to take a piece of what is rightfully his, Dallas.

Amy Vickers Wade has enjoyed a wonderful life. Her daddy, Tom Vickers, was a very successful businessman. Amy grew up under the lustful eye of every boy in school, and when she met Lucas she thought that it wasn’t any different. He proved to her that there was a thing as true love, and they have loved each other ever since. Her days consist of attending important social events and shopping, although she does campaign for her husband when he needs her to assist with a deal. She has been trying to have a baby, but has had no luck yet. Lucas is too proud to see a fertility specialist, so she has a couple of plans up her sleeve to get a baby out of him.
