Bar-Ba-Qued
It had been a few weeks since J.R. left Dallas and Southfork never
seemed emptier. Bobby had awakened early and went out for a ride. He
rode up to the stable where he saw James.
"Hello," Bobby said, to James
"Hi," James replied.
"Have you heard from J.R.?"
"I got a letter yesterday, giving me full ownership of the company."
James said
"Well, good luck, when is Debrah Lynn and Jimmy coming?" Bobby asked
"In about a week." James and Bobby started walking towards the house.
"It'll be good to have people in the house again," Bobby said.
Bobby and James were almost to the house when they saw Tersa walking up
to them.
"Excuse me, Mr. EWing, you have a phone call."
"Thanks Tersa," Bobby walked up to the outside phone, "Hello?" Bobby
anwsered.
"Dad? It's Christopher." Bobbys eyes lite up.
"Christopher? How are ya doin son? Have you decided when your coming
home?"
"Yeah, I was thinkng that maybe this Saturday would be good."
Christopher said.
"Ok, listen, I'll get your flight booked, and get you back just in time
for the Barbaque." Bobby couldn't wait to see his son, after all that
happened, he needed to see his son.
"Ok, great Dad, I'll see you then." Christopher and Bobby both hung up
the phone together. Bobby went in the house to get things ready for the
Barbaque.

MacKay sat in his new office at WestStar. He had been wanting this
postion for a long time, first he had to wait for Jeremey Wendelle to
screw up, then after he got it, he had to make it look good. But now,
after all that, he has his postion back, J.R. is gone, hopefully for
good, and all was going well, except for the fact that Cliff Barnes is
the new owner of Ewing Oil. Mac was about to go to lunch when there was
a knock at the door.
"Come in," Mac said, wandering who it was. Mac's face drop when he saw
who walked in.
"Hi, Daddy," Tracy had left Dallas a few years ago, after her brother
was killed, Mac had wanted her back in his life, but wasn't sure where
she was.
"Tracy, oh my.." Mac got up and gave his daughter a big hug. "Where on
earth have you been?"
"Well, here and there, I felt like it was time to come back."
"Indeed it was, come on, I was just about to get a bite to eat." Mac and
Tracy walked out of the office, both wanting to get close agian, but
neither knowing how to do so.

At the Fairveiw, the man that had been wanting J.R. was getting
impatient. He had to do something, but what. He had this big plan on how
he would make J.R. pay. But since J.R. wasn't around, he would have to
do something else.
"Damn you Ewings." He said looking at a picture of Bobby and J.R.
"Well, if I can't get J.R., then Bobby will do just has good." He picked
up the newspaper and was flipping through it when he saw what would be
the perfect opporturnity.
"Well, thank you Bobby, the annual Ewing Barbaque, perfect."
The man put the paper down, and walked out of the hotel room.

Night came quickly to Southfork, Bobby sat in the kicthen eating his
dinner, James had gone to the airport to pick up Debrah Lynn and Jimmy,
and Tersa had the night off. Bobby sat remembering that not to long ago,
the house was full of people. He was forced out of his trip down memory
lane by a noise out in the dinning room. Bobby got up and slowly moved
toward the door, and lloked out of the window. He didn't see anything,
so he thought it was imagination. he turned around and was scared half
to death. Ray stood in front of him with a big grin on his face.
"Ray!!" Bobby said, giving his brother a big hug.
"Didn't mean to scare you like Bob," Ray said laughing
"Sure you didn't, what are you doing here? Wheres Jenna, and Lucas?"
"Well.." Ray was cute off by little foot steps running from behind him.
Ray turned and saw Lucas running up to him.
"OH MY," Bobby said, "He has gotten big" Bobby looked at his son, with
sad eyes, he wanted so much to be the one raising Lucas.
"Hello Bobby," Bobby looked and saw Jenna walking in the door.
"Hello," Bobby gave Jenna a kiss on the cheak. "Well, come on
guys, lets go into the living room." Bobby lead them all into the living
room and sat down.
"So what are you guys doing here?" Bobby asked, looking at Lucas,
sitting on Rays lap.
"Well," Ray begun, "We actually heard about J.R. and decided it was time
to come back for a visit. Besides, you haven't seen Lucas for a long
time."
"I'm glad your back, and just in time for the Barbaque." The four
of them kept talking, and the past.

The next few days went very quicly at Southfork, and the day of the
Barbaque was here. All the Ewings went down to minlge with the guests
that were arriving. There were some faces there that no one had seen for
awhile. Punk Anderson, Marilee Stone, then those ones that just no one
cares for, Carter Mackay, with his daughter Tracy, and Cliff Barnes.
Bobby looked out and saw all the people and he remembered back to past
partys, and remembered all the family that was there. Now the family is
divided, and theres not much of it left.
"Bobby." Bobby heard his name and turned to see who was calling it. He
saw Marilee coming up to him.
"Well, hello Marilee, glad you could make it."
"Hello Bobby, so is it true about J.R.?" Marilee had a big grin on her
face.
"J.R. has left town for awhile if that's what you mean." Bobby knew that
he would be bombarded with this question all day.
"Ole J.R. leaving, I can't believe it. Funny isn't it?" Marilee said.
"What? His leaving?"
"Well, I mean who could blame him. HE was offered the big chair at West
Star, so what he'd do, he sold Ewing to Cliff, and then found out that
MacKay sat him up. Man, I would have given anything to see the look on
hi face." Marilee starterd to giggle alittle.
"Marilee, would you excuse me," Bobby walked away from Marilee, so he
could find MacKay.

Jenna and Ray walked side by side, greeting people who they hadn't seen
for a long time. Ray had almost forgotten how good it was to live on
Southfork. Jenna stoped Ray when she saw Bobby walking around.
"Ray, we have to ask him, and soon." Jenna said, stoping Ray and looking
at him.
"Jenna, I know, it's just a little hard." Ray replied, not wanting to
talk to Bobby.
"Listen Ray, we just have a few days before we have to go back, I want
an anwser soon." Jenna said in a sturn voice.
"Jenna, listen, this is hard, I just want to wait for the right moment."
Ray and Jenna started to walk out into the crowd.
"Ray, I think it should be done tonight, and if you don't, I will."
Jenna pulled away from Ray and walked out towards the barn. Ray stood
there, watching her walk away.

Bobby found MacKay and headed towards him. He wasn't really mad, but he
did want to find out if what Marilee said was true. He saw Mackay and
headed up to him.
"Mac, I want to talk to you." Bobby said as he approached MacKay.
"Sure Bobby, what about?" Mac asked, taking a drink.
"I heard that...."Bobby was cut short when he saw Tracy walk up to her
father.
"Tracy, what a nice surprise, what are you doing back?" Bobby had
forgotten how good Tracy looked.
"Hello Bobby, I just came to see dad for awhile. I wanted to say that I
am sorry about April." Tracy looked Bobby right in the eye, she stilled
loved him, and he could tell.
"Thank you, listen, could I buy you a drink?" Bobby asked
"Sure," Tracy and Bobby walked away from Mac, and headed to the bar.

The Barbaque was a big sucess, everyone was enjoying themselves, and no
one noticed the stranger walk in. He looked around, so he could spot
Bobby. He walked around the front of the house and peek into the front
dooor. There wasn't anyone in site, so he walked in, after looking
around, he went back outside. He looked around again, and saw Bobby.
"This is the day Mr. Ewing." The stranger stood behind the house waiting
for the right moment to make his move.

Bobby and Tracy stood at the bar, catching up, they both were enjoying
each others company. Both of them still had feelings for each other, but
were scared to really show them.
"Tracy, I...." Bobby was cut off by one of the parking attendents.
"Excuse me, Mr. Ewing. Your car is blocking a guest car, and they need
to leave."
"Well, Andy," Bobby said. "Move it."
"The keys aren't in it sir." Andy said.
"Ok, I'll take care of it." Bobby got up and walked to his car, with
Andy behind him.
Bobby had opened the door and started to get into the car, when he heard
Christophers voice. "Here Andy," Bobby said, tossing the keys to Andy,
"Go ahead and move it."
Bobby started towards Christopher. Andy had gotten in the car and
started it up. As Bobby reached Christopher, he heard a loud expolsion
and then he, with 20 other guest were thrown across the yard. Bobby got
up and saw his car sitting there with fire blazing out of it. Bobby
started to run up to the car and another small explosion blew, Bobby
stoped and looked on, knowing that there must have been a bomb in the
car, and knowing that it must have been meant for him.
