"I just can't belive this." Bobby said, taking a sip of his drink.

"Who would want to kill you Bobby?" Jenna asked.

"I'm not sure, but somebody did." Bobby got up and went to the window.

"I could understand trying to kill J.R.," Cliff remarked. "But why you?"

"Bob, we were planning on going back in a couple of days, but
we'll stay for as long as it takes." Ray said walking up to his brother.

"I just wander who would do this." Jenna said. Everyone heard a voice
from behind them.

"I may have an idea Bobby." Everyone turned to see Carter MacKay and
Tracy standing in the doorway.

"Mac? You know who did this?" Bobby asked walking up to MacKay.

"You haven't seen the paper today?" Mac asked.

"No, why?" Mac handed Bobby a newspaper, and Bobby saw the head line.

"Former West Star President, Released From Prison" Bobby looked at MAc,
then back at the paper. "Jeremey Wendell?!?"

Debrah Lynn sat by the pool holding Jimmy, James had to gone to get her
a drink. She was real shaken up about the exploision.

"Here honey," James said, handing Debrah Lynn a glass of club soda.

"James, is this how they live? with people tring to kill them all the
time?" Debrah Lynn watched as James sat down beside her.

"Deb, I know this pretty scary, but it's not something that happens
everyday."

"I'm just...."

"Your nervous about living here, away from your family."

"You know me pretty good, don't you?" Debrah Lynn said, laying her head
on James shoulder

"That I do." James kissds Debrah Lynn on the forehead and held her.

Jeremy Wendell sat in his den, reading the afternoon paper, he had just
gotten out of jail a few days ago, and he felt like he should lay low
for awhile. The door bell rang, and a few seconds later, his maid,
Bonnie came to him.

"Sir, there are a couple of Police men here, they say they need to ask
you a few questions."

"Well, I supose you should show them him." Wendell stood up and got
himself a drink.

"Mr. Wendell?, I'm Detective, Hersay, this is Detective Carlisle, we
have a few questions to ask you." The two men stood in the door way.

"Would you care for something to drink gentlemen?" Jeremey asked?

"No, thank you, if we may?"

"Yes, questions, ok"

"Mr. Wendelle, there was an attemped on Mr. Bobby Ewings life, would you
happen to know anything about it?"

Jeremey laughed, "I've just been out of prison a few days, and you think
I would try and kill Bobby, Ewing?"

"You did try to before...is that correct?"

"Not, excatly, I tried to get some land, and if they got in the way,
then that was their fault." Jeremy looked right into the Detcetive's
eyes.

"YOu can provide an aliby, right?" Detective Hersay asked

"YOu can talk to my maid, now if there is nothing more.." Jeremey walked
the two men to the door.

"Mr. Wendelle, we advise you not to leave town, without notifing us."
The two police men walked out the door towards their car. Jeremy shut
the door, and went back to his den.

Night came quickly to SOuthfork and all of the guests had gone home,
even James and Debrah Lynn had left to spend the night in a hotel.
Christopher had taken Lucas up to his room, so he could spend some time
with his brother alone, and Bobby sat in the Living Room, talking to
Jenna, and Ray.

"Bob, listen, I know this isn't really a good time, but...." Ray sat
close to Jenna, and held her hand tightly.

"Is something wrong Ray?" Bobby asked, very concered about his brother,
he and Jenna bothed seemed distant since they arrived at SouthFork.

"It's...." Ray hesitated

"Ray, just say it,"

"Jenna and I were, well, I was....I need your approval," Ray finally
said.

"Approval for what?" Bobby asked,

"I want to adopt Lucas," Ray fianlly got it out, and he sat back ready
for the response he knew was coming.

Bobby stood up and walked to the fireplace where all the family photos
were, he picked up a picture of Lucas, Ray and Jenna looked at each
other. Jenna stood up and went over to Bobby.

"Bobby, I know it's hard, but you never see him, he already calls Ray
Daddy,"

Bobby looked at Jenna, "I'm his father, he should be calling me daddy,
but I didn't have a choice, did I?"

"Yes you did," Ray said standing up, "You chose to marry Pam that day,
not Jenna,"

Bobby looked at Ray, "If you want to adopt him, fine, but just remeber
how you felt when you found out Jock was your Daddy, not Amois Krebbs,"
Bobby, pushed his way through Jenna and Ray, leaving the two to
themselves.

In a dark Hotel room at the Fairview, the strange man, that has been
atfer Bobby, sat by the window, looking out, and talking on the phone.

"YEs sir........I didn't know he would have the kid move the
car..........But.........NOW LISTEN.....................I will get
him.............The next one may just get ALL the Ewings."

He hung up the phone and countinued to look out the window.

The next morning was a quiet one at Southfork, Ray and Jenna barly spoke
to each other, and nietehr of them spoke to Bobby. Christopher watched
the three adults and then fianlly got tired of the silence.

"Whats going on? Noone is talking??"

"Christopher, it's ok, don't worry about it," Bobby said, giving
Christopher the look.

"No, Dad, when I have a problem, you tell me to get it out," Christpher
stood up.

"I know Christopher," Bobby said,

Christopher walked out so the three could talk.

"Bobby, I thought about what you said, but I didn't know Jock was my
father, Lucas will know when the time is right." Ray said looking at
Bobby.

"Ray, just get the damn papers so I can sign them." With that Bobby got
up and walked out, how could they do this to him, first he losses Pam,
then April, his family his spread throughout the world, and now they
want to take his son, away from him. Bobby got into is car a drove off.

James walked into the Ewing and EWing Offices, he was greeted by his new
secetary, Diane. She had just been there for about a week, but she
pretty much knew everything.

James had just sat down when Diane buzzed his intercom.

"Sir, Cliff Barnes is here," Diane waited for a response. James sat
thinking for a minute, then pressed the respond button.

"Send him in please." James released the button and got up as Diane
showed Cliff into the office.

"Cliff, what on Earth are you doing here?" James said, looking at Cliff.

"Well, I was wandering if you had considered selling yet?" Cliff ask,
setting down in a chair.

"Cliff, I'm not selling Ewing & Ewing, and thats final. Now if you will
excuse me." James went to the door and opened it. Cliff got up and
walked to the door.

"Thats what your daddy always said to, but in the end he sold it to me."
Cliff walked out laughing all the way.

Ray and Jenna left the lawers office and was walking down the sidewalk.

"Ray, do you think we're doing the right thing?" Jenna asked, looking at
Ray.

"Jenna, I thought we discussed this. We're doing it because Bobby,
already gave up his right." Ray replied back, giving Jenna one of his
looks.

"I know Ray, but, he doesn't really have a child of his own, at least
you have Margeret." Jenna didn't look at Ray, she remembered when she
thought Bobby would marry her, and actually be a father to Lucas.

"I know, but I never see her. Lucas is the closest I got, and
Christopher is just as close to a son, to Bobby."

"Thats right Ray, you never see her, so why not think what it would be
like if Donna asked you if the Sentor could adopt her..how would you
feel?" Jenna let go of Rays hand and walked off without him. Ray stood
there for a minute then ran up to her.

"Jenna," Ray said, grabbing her arm and turning her towards him. "I do
know how it feels, Dowling did adopt her." Ray turned his head to hold
back the tears. Jenna looked at him.

"What? Why didn't you tell me?"

"It hurt to much to do it. But I know shes better off, she doesn't need
some cowboy to be her Father." Ray started walking off, leaving Jenna
alone this time. She didn't try to catch up, she just stood there, not
knowing what to say.

Bobby pulled up to Mackays house. He had gone to see Tracy. Has he got
to the door, Rose walked out.

"Bobby Ewing, what on earth.." Rose said.

"Hello Rose, is Tracy here?" Bobby asked Rose.

"She sure is, just go on into the living room, she should be down in a
minute." Rose continued to walk on to her car, and Bobby went into the
house. He wondered if he should just sit, or walk around a look for her.
He had decided to sit when he heard music coming from upstiars. He
decided to go ahead a find her. He followed the music upstairs, then to
the left. he found the door, it was coming out of, and noticed it was
cracked, he peeked in and saw Tracy getting dress, all she had on was a
bra and underwear. Bobby stodd there for a minute deciding what to do.
Bobby decided to surprise her, he opened the door very quietly and sneak
up behind her, he wrapped his arms around her, barly scaring her to
death, then he started to kiss her neck, and with that, the two kissed,
then they started to make love.

Ray and Jenna walked into Southfork, and looked for Bobby, he was
nowhere to be found, but they did see a note, it read:

Ray & Jenna,
Please come to barn number one, I will be there, we need to talk.
Bobby.
Not sure what to make of it, they went out to the barn.

"BOBBY!" Ray yelled, no response came. They both heard a noise.

"I think it came from back there." Jenna said. Her and Ray walked to the
back of the barn.

"Oh my...Ray," Jenna saw Christopher and Deborah Lynn tied up and sitting
in a corner.

"Glad you could finaly make it."

Ray and Jenna turned to see someone standing behind them.

"Oh, my, W..." Ray was about to say the mystery mans name when he was
knock out bye the handle of the gun, that was pointing at them.

"Now, if you will please sit next to the other two, we'll wait for Bobby
to come home."

Jenna looked at him with horror. "What do you want?" Jenna asked.

The man looked at her, and smiled, "I want to kill the Ewings.."
