105 - Look Who's Talking
Dawson is watching a movie with Joey. As soon as the movie is over, Joey gets up and is about to leave, as Bessie is due soon. It's a night of firsts. They only watched one movie and Jen is also watching. Jen wants to leave so Dawson and Joey don't have to break their ritual. If they both stay they'll both feel uncomfortable. If Joey leaves, Grams won't allow it. Joey can't stay if Jen leaves, because she'll feel like she's driven her away. That leaves one option. They both go. "Movie night, way to complicated", Dawson says.
Bodie has an interview at a restaurant later today. Joey doesn't like the pregnant Bessie.
Pacey wants to go out with Tamara this weekend. He plans to go down to Providence. Pacey is telling this to Dawson in the school bathroom. Pacey checks under the stalls for people, but sees nothing. After they leave, we see a kid sitting on the top of a toilet smoking.
Jen tells Dawson about a Pacey and Mrs.Jacobs rumor that is going around. Jen asks Dawson if it is true. His response: "I can never lie to you. So just pretend you never asked me that question".
Pacey is walking through the halls and everybody is looking at him. A girl comes over and whispers into his ear. Pacey just stares at Dawson.
Dawson and Pacey have a talk in the closet. Dawson tells Pacey to go out and act like it doesn't bother him. There's a chance it could be dead by 6th period.
Joey takes a seat beside Pacey at the docks and explains to him how they have something in common.
Bessie is in the truck, but the back wheel is just spinning. She thinks she is in labor. There phone is out, so the closets phone is at Dawson's. they have to take the row-boat. Joey thinks that the boat is leaking. Bessie says it's not the boat.
Dawson phones the hospital, but the Ambulance will be a while, and Bodie is away at his interview.
Tamara tells Pacey of how it's only a matter of time before the district school board hears about it.
Joey goes to Grams to ask her to help Bessie out, even though Grams doesn't approve of them.
Deputy Doug tells Pacey of how the school board has called an emergency board meeting to discuss charges against Mrs.Jacobs.
Grams comes over and helps Bessie, even though Bessie is mad at her.
Pacey tries to talk to Tamara, but her attorney stops him from talking to her.
Tamara has been asked the question of weather or not she has had a relationship with Pacey. Pacey enters. He says that the rumors were made by him and are just his fantasy.
Jen tells Grams that she sees a lot of blood. Grams says it's normal and tells Jen to go and get more towels. Dawson tries to reassure Bessie while he is filming it, but Grams orders him to leave the room. Grams tells Jen that it is a lot of blood and that she needs her help.
Bessie is in pain. Grams gets them to say the Lord's Prayer. Dawson goes outside to see if Joey needs somebody. She tells of how Bessie reminds her of her mother, and she made the same sounds when she was dieing as Bessie is now. Dawson says that Bessie needs her help now.
Bessie is almost done but she is out of energy. Joey enters, holds her hand, and she comes up with the energy to push the rest out.
Tamara says she's leaving Capeside and is going to Rochester to live with her sister. Pacey asks for a good-bye kiss, but she isn't sure she can handle it. They hug and Pacey walks away.
Joey goes home and holds the new baby boy.
Pacey is walking on the beach. He looks up to Tamara’s house as she turns off her lights. "Goodnight Tammy", Pacey says to himself as he continues on.
