Cats have no ability to taste sweet things.

A horse can sleep standing up.

Cows have 4 stomachs. Often when a calf is born the farmer will make it sallow a magnet. This is to attract the various nails, staples, tacks, bits of wire, and so on that the cow may ingest while grazing. When the animal is slaughtered, the butcher will remove the magnet along with the metallic debris and sell the mass of iron and steel for scrap.

A squirrel had no color vision; it sees only in black and white. Every part of its field of vision, however, is in perfect focus, not just straight ahead, as with man.

A kangaroo cannot jump if its tail is lifted off the ground. It needs its tail for pushing off.

Penguin has an apparatus above its eyes that enables it to transform salt water into fresh.

A rat can fall from a five-storey building without injury, so...they'll make good stunts creatures huh?

A bird chews with its stomach. Since most birds do not have teeth, a bird constantly swallows samll pebbles and gravel. These grits become vigorousky agitated in the bird's stomach and serve to grind food as it passes through the digestive system.

Minnows, a kind of fish, have teeth in their throats!
