The year is 1976. Point Place, Wisconsin, U.S.A. From a dingy little hang-out also known as Eric Foreman’s basement, FOX brings us That 70s Show, a smart comedy created by the creative genius behind 3rd Rock From The Sun and written by the people who brought us Wayne’s World and The Brady Bunch Movie. What else can be expected but a hit show?

As a child of the 80’s, I was expecting an "era-shock". Wouldn’t like the clothes, wouldn’t get the jokes, wouldn't watch the show . . . how could a show about the 1970’s possibly survive with the 1990’s viewing audience? But I was mistaken. I can relate more to the comedic antics from the cast of That 70’s Show than the weekly sex-fests on the 90’s teen-drama Dawson’s Creek.

With an amazing cast of acting newcomers: Topher Grace, Danny Masterson (Cybil), Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, and Wilmer Valderrama; plus the amazing talents of showbiz veterans: Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith, Don Stark and Tanya Roberts; That 70s Show is undoubtedly one of the year’s best shows. Recognizing it’s growing succeess, FOX already has That 70s Show lined up for next season. Personally, it’s got me hooked.
