Chapter 21

Alli was very excited yet nervous about her date. She walked in the Cory mansion. Cameron and her mom were sitting on the couch with Katie. Amanda took one look at her daughter and knew that something was up. " And where were you Alli?" Asked Amanda as she gave Katie her rattle. " I was at the Lucky Lady," said Alli. " And what made you so happy at the Lucky Lady?" Asked Cameron in a teasing was. " I was with Sean McKinnion," said Alli. " Oh really," said Amanda."Yes. He asked me to go to the movies with him tomrrow night,"said Alli.

"Oh no. No...no ..no. I gotta sit down," said Amanda. " You are sitting down," said Cameron. " I gotta lay down. My little girl is going out with a McKinnion," said Amanda. " Oh mom. He's nothing like Jake. Don't worry," said Alli. " I think I'll go give Katie her bath while you two girls have your little mother daughter talk,"said Cameron. Cameron was out of there before Amanda could protest.

" You don't mind me going. Do you?" Asked Alli. " No. As long as you let us meet him and your back by midnight," said Amanda. " Thanks," said Alli. Alli sat down beside Amanda. " What am I going to wear?" Asked Alli. Kinda talking to herself. " Well. How about we go shopping tomorrow ?" Asked Amanda.

"Oh. That would be great," said Alli. Alli went to bed for the night. Cameron came down stairs. Amanda was walking back and fourth and back and fourth. " Well I know one thing," said Cameron. " What's that," said Amanda. " Katie isn't dating until she is thirty," said Cameron. " Oh yeah," said Amanda. " Amanda. If your so worried about Alli going out with this Sean guy then don't let her go," said Cameron. " It's not that. I don't know. When Katie starts dating you'll understand," said Amanda. " On that note I'm going to bed," said Cameron. Cameron and Amanda went upstairs to bed. Alli was still awake. She was thinking about her date with Sean. Finally she fell asleep.

***** The next morning*****

Amanda woke up. Cameron wasn't there. He must be out running thought Amanda. Amanda went down stairs. Alli was dressed and out of the terrace drinking juice. " Alli your up early," said Amanda. Amanda was still in her robe. " I couldn't sleep. I'm too excited," said Alli. " So what exactly are you going to look for?" Asked Amanda while pouring herself a glass of juice. " I don't know. I don't think I'll wear a skirt or dress. That seems too.. well dressy," said Alli. Amanda just knodded. I think I'll just wear like Khakis and some shirt. I'll have to wait to see what they have," said Alli. Amanda saw Cameron running across the lawn. Cameron stopped for a second when he reached the terrace. " So are you ladies going to go shopping for Alli's big date?" Asked Cameron. " Yes," said Amanda. " Well I'm gonna go take a shower," Said Cameron. Amanda looked at her watch. " Oh it's getting late. I'm going to go get dresses," said Amanda. Amanda and Cameron went upstairs. Amanda stopped in the nursery on her way up. Afterwards she got ready and her and Alli went shopping.

**** Back at home****

Amanda and Alli got back around 5:30. Alli had an hour and a half to get ready. Alli took her bag upstairs to get ready. Cameron was on the terrace with the baby. Amanda went out. Amanda pulled another chair over. " Hi," said Amanda. " Hi. How was your little shopping spree?" Asked Cameron sarcasticaly." Well. You missed out," said Amanda." Oh yeah I bet," said Cameron. " Alli is so nervous," said Amanda. " Where is she now?" Asked Cameron. "She's getting ready."

Meanwhile Alli was in her room. She was blow drying her hair. " I hate my hair. I hate my hair," said Alli out loud. She finnaly descided to just put a butterfly bret in and let the rest hang down. She had picked out a pair of tan Khakis and a blue tantop that had a whit strip down the midde going sideways. She looked in the mirror. So far so good thought Alli. Alli picked up her watch and rings. She glanced at the watch it said 6:45. " Oh no," said Alli. Alli grabbed all of her jelwrey and put in on. Grabbed her shoes and ran down the stairs. Amanda and Cameron were standing at the bottem of the stairs. " Oh here we go," said Amanda. Amanda pulled Cameron out of the why so Alli didn't run right in to him.

" Alli you look great," said Cameron. " Thanks. I'm glad somebody thinks so," said Alli. " You look beautiful. Don't worry," said Amanda. The door bell rang. " Oh no," said Alli. " Alli go upstairs. You look like you were waiting for him," said Amanda. Cameron stood there and watched Amanda and Alli all fuss over him. I wonder if this is what girls did when I was in school thought Cameron.Cameron giggeled at that thought of that. Amanda opened the door. Sean was standing there. He looked very nice. He had a pair of tan cargo pants with a white T-sirt with this blue and white checked baggy dress shirt over it. He has gotten Alli yellow roses. Alli figure this was a good time to come down. Alli walked down the stairs. The only thing going through her head was.. don't fall..don't fall...oh please don't let me fall... Alli made it to the bottem of the stairs. Sean smiled. " Hi," said Alli. " Hi," said Sean. Sean handed her the yellow roses. " Thank you. The're beautiful," said Alli. " So Sean. Where are you two going?" Asked Amanda. " We're going to the Bay City theater," said Sean.

"Okay. Just make sure she's home but midnight," said Amanda. Cameron took this as a moment to talk to Sean. Alli looked so embarressed. I hope she isn't saying anything bad to him. " Sean could you please step over here," said Cameron. Sean looked scared. Cameron pulled Sean aside. Oh no here we go thought Alli. " Okay Sean. Here's the deal. I was younge once too so I understand what your going through. Just so long is you don't put Alli in any danger or bring her home late then were cool," said Cameron. " Okay. I won't put her in danger and she will be home by mignight," said Sean. "Okay then. Have fun," said Cameron. " Bye," said Amanda.

Sean and Alli were on their was to ther first date.....

Chapter 22

Alli and Sean walked down the stairs of the Cory mansion. Jake and Vicky were out that night and they took Jake's car so Vicky let Sean borrow her dark blue civic. Vicky did tell him if there was one thing wrong with that car when he brought it back then he better hide because she was gonna kill him. Alli and Sean got in the car. They pulled out of the drive way on there way to the movies.

" I can't believe Vicky let you borrow her car. She's always been very .. I don't know. Over protective," said Alli. " Yeah I know. I was surprised too. What movie do you want to see?" " I don't know. What's playing?" Asked Alli. " I don't know. We can check before we go in," said Sean. When they got there they looked at the movie playing. After awhile they desided to see " Big Daddy." He then bought the tickets.

" Do you want anything to eat or drink?" Asked Sean. " Yeah sure," said Alli. Sean turnned to get in line. Alli looked very nervous. As a matter of fact Sean didn't look to comfortable either.Sean ordered a box of popcorn and a soda. Then he looked at Alli. " A soda and popcorn is fine for me too," said Alli. While Sean was paying for the stuff Alli looked around. She saw Nick and Remy walk into the movie theater. " Hi Alli," said Remy. " Hi you guys," said Alli. Who are you here with?" Asked Nick. " Sean," said Alli. Sean walked over. " Hey Nick," said Sean. " Hey," said Nick. " Sean this is my girlfriend, Remy," said Nick. " Hi," said Sean. " Hi," said Remy. " What are you seeing?" Asked Nick. " Big Daddy," said Sean. " Oh too bad. We could have hung out. We're seeing Wild Wild West," said Remy. " Well the movies gonna start soon and we haven't even bought our tickets," said Nick. They all said there good-byes.

Alli and Sean went into the movie theater. Hardley anyone was in there. Only about 10 as Alli counted to herself. "Do you want to sit in the front or back?" Asked Sean. " The back is fine," said Alli. Sean made his way through the back row all the way to the left. Alli and him both sat down. The lights dimmed and the movie started. Sean took a drink. He thought to himself. I can't believe this I'm on a date with her finally and I'm too chicken to talk. What is wrong with me. Meanwhile Alli was thinking... I can't believe me. What do I say? I don't know if he wants me to say something first.. what do I do? Alli took a drink of her soda. About 30 minutes went by and finally Sean got up enough courage. Sean leading in and put his arm around Alli. Finally thought Alli to herself. He glanced at her and she just smilled. After about 10 more minutes Alli put her head on Sean's shoulder. The movie was over now. Alli and Sean got up and started to leave. Sean glance at his watch. It was only ten o'clock. " It's only ten do you want to go somewhere else?" Asked Sean. " Sure," said Alli. They desided to go on a walk through the park. ***NOTE THAT IS WHERE THEY FIRST MET***

They walked hand in hand down the path. "I bet my mom had Paulena have Remy and Nick come check up on us," said Alli. " Yeah. Cameron sure is really protective of you considering he isn't your father," sadi Sean. " Well my real dad is the complete opposite,"said Alli. It started to rain. Not hard just sprinkling. Sean and Alli headed for the car. Sean turnned on the radio. " What are you doing on Sunday?" Asked Alli. " Nothing," said Sean. " Do you want to go horse back riding?" Asked Alli. " Um. Alli, I don't really do that kinda stuff. I never really learned how. We could do something else though," said Sean. " Well you could just come over and hang out," said Alli. "Okay sure," said Sean. They were now at Alli's house. Sean and Alli both go out of the car.

Amanda was still up. Cameron was too because everytime she thought she heard Alli she woke him up. Finally he quit trying. "Cameron I think it's her." "Amanda go to sleep. Please." Cameron put his head under his pillow. " No I really think it's her." Cameron rolled over his head still under his pillow. Finally he stuck his head out far enough for Amanda to see his face. Cameron yawned. "I'm going to sleep now," said Cameron. He put his head back under his pillow. Amanda threw her pillow at him. "Thanks," said Cameron. Cameron took Amanda's pillow and used it too.Amanda got up and went to the window. She saw Vicky's car but, she didn't see Alli or Sean. They were too close to the house to be seen.

" Well I guess I'll see you Sunday," said Sean awkwardly. " Yeah. I had fun tonight," said Alli. " Good," said Sean. " Well I better get in," said Alli. Sean stepped closer to Alli. He kissed her. " Good-night Alli," said Sean as he flashed her one of his awesome smiles.Alli smiled too. "Good-night,"said Alli. Sean walked off and Alli went inside. Alli was smilling the whole rest of the night so was Sean..

Chapter 23

********The next morning******

Cameron was very grumpy because of lack of sleep. He had gone for a run and Amanda was on the terrace with Katie. Alli came out and sat down with her. " How was your date?" Asked Amanda." It was nice," said Alli. " Oh, not offering any extra info. I see," said Amanda. Alli didn't say anything. " Cameron and I are going to a fund raiser for Cory tonight," said Amanda. " Would you like to come?" " Yeah. Sure," said Alli. The door bell rang. Claudia went to go get it. " Ms. Cory. Ms. Roberts is here," said Claudia. Amanda rolled her eyes. " Great," said Amanda. Amanda handed Katie to Alli. Amanda went in to the main room. " Hello Lila," said Amanda. " Hello Amanda. I'm here to give Matt,Jasmine for the night. He's been wanting her to stay over," said Lila as she sat Jasmine's bag down. At that time Matt came down. " Hi Lila. Oh Jasmine Hi,"said Matt as he took her from Lila.

"I was going to ask you. What do you think if I bring her back to you tomorrow night. I wanted to take her to the Cory fund raiser," said Matt. " That would be fine." said Lila. " I'll see you tomorrow baby, said Lila as she kissed Jasmine's forhead.

Lila left. Cameron came in. " Cameron. Do you remember what today is?" Asked Amanda. " Umm. No should I?" Asked Cameron." The fund raiser," said Amanda.

"Oh Amanda. You know I don't like dressing up in one of those monkey suits and walk around talking to all of those people," said Cameron." Cameron. Please. You promised," said Amanda. " Now how can I say no to that?" Asked Cameron. " I think I'm going to go. My daughter doesn't need to see this," said Matt. " Very funny Matt," said Amanda. " Close your eyes Jasmine," said Cameron. Jasmine was too younge to understand what Cameron ment. She wasn't even talking yet. Matt put his hand over her eyes. Cameron kissed Amanda. "I'm going to go take a shower now. Jasmine, you can open your eyes now," said Cameron.

Cameron went up stairs to get ready and so did Amanda. This fund raiser could get Cory out of all of the finacal problems. Alli went to get ready too. Amanda put Katie is her crib untill it was time to go. They ran around all getting ready. Fianlly Rachel, Matt, Alli, Amanda and Cameron were all ready. Amanda went in to get Katie. Amanda leanded over the crib. It was empty. " Cameron Mom Matt!!!!!" Yelled Amanda. Cameron was the first to come. " Oh no," sad Cameron. " Where could she be?" Asked Amanda. " Look," said Cameron. Cameron was pointing to the open window. He walked over and leanded out. They searched the entire house. No one had seen or taken Katie out of her crib. Reality set in soon. Katie had been kidnapped. They called the police and hoped someone would find Katie Sinclair.

Chapter 24

Amanda was frantic. Cameron was trying to stay calm for Amanda but, he couldn't help but want to be frantic too. They called the police. Joe came over. He talked to Amanda and Cameron. Meanwhile police were upstairs investigating the kidnapping. " Captain. We looked everywhere we didn't find anything. Not a print or anything," said a police officer. " We must be dealing with a pro," said Joe. " What do you mean a pro," said Amanda. " Let's just say that this person was planning this for while," said Joe. Amanda started crying again. " I gave Katie's picture to Josie. She's running off flyers," said Joe. Gary came in. " I can't believe this," he said as he hugged Amanda and Cameron. Rachel and Matt were both on their phones trying to call in any favors to try to help save Katie. " I have an idea. I'm going to the office. I'll going to find her," said Gary. Gary left as quickly as he came in. Alli was sitting on the couch still in shock over everything. She felt awful about how she acted when she found out that he mom was having Katie. Even though she acted that way she loved Katie and she was very worried. " Mom everythings going to be okay," said Alli. " I hope your right," said Amanda through tears. " You know what. We could do what you did for Lila when Jasmine was missing," said Alli. " That's a good idea," said Paulena. " Yeah. Aunt Paulena and I can make some calls," said Alli.
