ISSUE #24: Lil' Orphaned Annie
August 13th, 1999

Wow, these past 2 weeks a flown by - I can't believe it has been so long since I wrote to you all. Sorry about that, things are extremely busy in my life right now - so let's hope this weeks article makes up for it. This is a letter that I would like to send to our sniveling little widow in Sunset Beach.

Dear Orphaned Annie:

Basically, my question to you is this … What the hell is wrong with you? If you verbally or physically attack Olivia, or Caitlin, or even Rose (the maid) one more time, I am going to have to break out a can of "whoop ass" on you. I have never seen anyone so damn bitchy and off her rocker in a long time.

You has caused nothing but heartache, and misery, and grief for the Richards family (lately anyway), and this entire baby Trey stuff is your fault, and you have the nerve to demand inheriting money from Gregory's estate? I don't think so.

I used to think that you really loved Gregory, but now I disagree - because if you really, truly loved him, you would not be acting this way demanding that you be given "what is rightfully yours". Yes, Gregory used you - almost as much as you used him - but let's face it Annie, you are a big girl now and you know better than to have gotten involved with someone like Gregory. But no, you dove right in that pool of filthy water and now are drowning big time. You helped mess up the now infamous paternity test on Trey so that it would look like Gregory was the father, then you tried to uncover Francesca's killer (hoping it was Olivia), but it was Gregory instead. Now that he is (supposedly) dead, you think that all of his possessions are yours? Wrong girly! You signed a pre-nuptial agreement when you eloped with him in Las Vegas last year and you know what? … You signed over your shares of the Liberty Corporation stock to him, as well as your rights to his assets (among other things).

And now it is revealed (finally) that Cole is the real father of Trey, you think you are going to reclaim all of his millions just because you were his widow? Nope - he mentioned you in his will specifically as getting the library of books - so in a court of law that holds up and you don't have a leg to stand on. It's not like he didn't leave you anything (ala Sean) so you will just have to grin and bear it. Do you really think that by you harassing and intimidating everyone around you, they will just cave in and hand over all of the money? But all of this Olivia and Cole and Caitlin stuff wasn't enough for you, was it? Nope, you had to go and stick your nose into the Ben/Meg/Maria situation and make things even worse for everyone. Maria, your supposed best friend now doesn't even like you anymore because you had to run your skinny little legs right over to Meg's house and rub it in her face that Ben and Maria made love. You must really get off on things like that - but at what cost? Maria swore you to secrecy and you completely disregarded her feelings about the situation. Some friend you are.

You are very lucky that you are not in jail right now - thanks to that little deal Gregory worked out for you with the District Attorney giving you complete immunity. And don't be to sure that Olivia won't change her mind and have that immunity revoked and send your narrow little behind off to jail. I think that prison grays would look marvelous on you.

Now my next question is this … who are you going to set your sights on for either love or money? Let's see … Casey is currently available, and so is Brad. Hey - not bad. They are both lifeguards, which will come in handy. 'Cause when the day comes that you get arrested for your devilish deeds and start to have a heart attack, they can perform CPR on you and try to bring you back to life.

So, in closing, dear Annie - you are all alone, with no man and no money and no family or friends who care. Well, maybe next time you find yourself in a tough spot and are thinking about manipulating people or things to suit you, think again. What comes around - goes around.

Sincerely,

Outraged and Loving It!
