My interests

Politics and Trade Union

Since the year 1990 I am an active member of the German Social Democrat Party called SPD .
I am engaged in the political mailinglist called Virtueller Ortsverein (VOV) , too. Social Democrats and other interested people are interacting here via Internet, Usenet and mailinglists related to special political topics.
I am a member of the trade union called Gewerkschaft Erziehung und Wissenschaft (GEW).


Relgion and Church

Until 1992 I was a Catholic and later in 1994 I converted to the German Protestant Church called
Evangelische Kirche Deutschlands (EKD) respectively (Landeskirche im Rheinland).



Humanities and natural science

I am interested in topics of philosophy, psychology and social sciences. My favourite authors are e.g. George Berkeley, Jürgen Habermas, George Herbert Mead, Peter Sloterdijk, Paul Watzlawick and Johano Strasser.
Further I am interested in questions of socio-biology and modern physics.




Non-Scientific Literature

I do not watch TV all day long! I read books from Bertold Brecht, Franz Kafka, Ray Bradbury and Stanilav Lem. On the other hand I like comics.

Teddys

I am very fond of teddybears! Especially when they are cute and cosy!





IRC Chats

I like to chat within the IRC. The topics I talk about are soccer, politcs or our real life.



Food and Drinks

I like to eat a piece of tart or cheese and I like to drink a glass of good wine or beer. I do not know if I am a Gourmet or a Gourmand.



Sports

I like watching sport games like soccer, F1 or IndyCar. I am a big fan of Nigel Mansell, Alex Zanardi and Keke Rossberg.



Music

I like good music! I often listen to good rock music (Jerry Lee Lewis, Bon Jovi, Queen, Toten Hosen), extraordinary good female (Kate Bush, Bette Midler, Madonna, Heart) and male (Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Billy Joel) musicians. I like other good music (Sting, Police, Housemartins), too.
