Laura Wright: Yeah, we actually laughed as we rehearsed it! But we wanted to do a scene where we were both in Towers or something and walked past each other and did a double take or something because we thought it was really funny.

Bradley Cole: I think it is. We've been in the city since 7:00 this morning. I haven't been outside, but I think it is still snowing.

Bradley Cole: We were up at 5 in the morning and finishing at 2 in the morning sometimes. So it was a lot of work.

Bradley Cole: Well, it's just so much fun! I was talking to someone about this not too long ago, meeting David feels like we've known each other a lot longer than we have and we have a very interesting and funny rapport. We're always kidding each other and throwing our accents around. It's very fun, actually, working with David.

Nitrolian asks: Hi Brad. I'm enjoying your portayal of that dreamy Prince Richard and especially like your recent comedic touches. Do you enjoy the heavy drama or comedy more?
Bradley Cole: I enjoy both. It's very nice to have the comedic relief. I enjoy playing the drama immensely also, and I don't think we should be doing a sitcom here, either, so it's nice when there are places in the script where... You know, we don't want the writers to be writing comedy and they normally don't, but often we and the directors will find places where it's appropriate to put in some comedic touches, and we enjoy that. But we are doing a melodrama here, so you do have to choose those moments wisely.

Laura Wright: I think Reva would kick my ass!
Bradley Cole: I don't know about that -- I'm not too sure about that. It'd be the match of the century. And I think most of the men would run clear out of the room! :)

Bradley Cole: It has to be when I was on that bloody horse and it was trying to throw me off and I was supposed to grab her and carry her off into the sunset...
Laura Wright: And obviously you didn't see that because it didn't happen! I have to say, it's hard to pick the funniest because we laugh so much on the set, all the time, it's funny all the time, but I think my favorite one is the one that aired a couple weeks ago with the telephone and Richard rushing into the room because Cassie accidentally hit the panic button to his room. I thought that was fun.

daffodil57_2000 asks: Laura, have you heard anything on Liz Keifer? How is she doing with little Keifer? We are all so happy for her! Also, LOVE the Blake/Cassie/Harley friendship! It is so refreshing! Are those scenes fun to film?
Laura Wright: Liz is doing great. The baby is doing wonderful. Yeah, I love the Harley/Blake/Cassie friendship. I wish it was more, and they're funny. Beth Ehlers (Harley) is very funny and the last scene we did, I remember she had a line where she was telling Cassie to be subtle about telling Richard she was in love with him and she was like, "Oh, whoops, I forgot to put on clothes over my lingerie!" She is just so funny. And Liz is just the sweetest, definitely a gem.

Bradley Cole: I cheated, because I have lived off and on in Europe for over 17 years, so it didn't come very difficult for me. What I did, sort of right before I auditioned for the part, was work with a friend of mine who teaches Standard English pronunciation. Toward the beginning of the show, I was working religiously on getting it just right. Now I relax.
Laura Wright: He's lazy.
Bradley Cole: No, I'm not lazy, it just comes more naturally now that I know who this guy is! But to answer your question, it comes from living in Europe and from studying before I started the show.

Bradley Cole: Well, for one thing, I'm in America, so I feel like I'm home! That's the main thing for me, not to feel like a foreigner, because no matter how many years you spend in a place, you feel like "the American". For me, it just feels great being in NY because it feels great to be in America again, to be home again.

Bradley Cole: You know, it was kind of confusing when we first started because I think the writers were trying to figure out which way to go, but he's definitely a good guy now. And working with Thom (Christopher), he's just a great foil and a wonderful partner.
Laura Wright: It's great working with everybody but Laura. Yep!
Bradley Cole: Sigh. It is SO wonderful working with Laura Wright, I just can't say enough.
