Perfect Halloween party

Imagine the perfect Halloween party. Complete with great food, free drinks and cool costumes. But just when the action starts to heat up, the guests begin to disappear--one by one. While it ain't a new party game, it proved to be a comedy vehicle like no other in TWO GUYS' October 28th Halloween episode, appropriately titled "Two Guys, A Girl and a Psycho Halloween."

Earning the show's first-ever TV-14 rating, TWO GUYS star Richard Ruccolo warned viewers ahead of time that the rating was assigned for good reason.

"When you see it, you're not going to believe it. I don't even know how they're going to put it on the air. [It's] really bloody!"

Bloody or not, who couldn't help but crack up at the sight of an ax-wielding Psycho-Berg?!

The SCREAM-esque storyline traced a hilarious but horrific killing spree at the hand of a mentally unstable character--who turned out to be THE DREW CAREY SHOW's Mimi disguised as Berg. (Hmmm . . . . We're guessing it took some pretty major special effects to pull that off!) The filming of the creepy episode provided irresistible opportunities for some heart stopping high jinks on the set. Rich reveals that one of the most memorable outtakes occurred courtesy of executive producer Danny Jacobson, who had a bloody ax to grind with his unsuspecting stars. "[He] jumped out of a doorway with an ax and scared us in the middle of the scene," recounts Rich.

Despite the resultant recurrent nightmares, everyone was so enthusiastic about the episode it's considered one of the crowning achievements in TWO GUYS history. According to Rich, "The Halloween episode is by far the best show we've ever done."

Which may explain why the powers that be gave the episode the go-ahead. Either that, or they were so busy screaming their heads off they were afraid not to!
