FROM ABC:
What's Ryan's type?
Well, you’re not the only one who’s hooked on Ryan. But for the record,
here’s what he does and doesn’t like in a girl… First of all, Ryan says he doesn’t
go for really "twiggy" girls, you know the ones who look like "androgynous
junkies." ("But apparently it’s all the rage in the fashion world," he quips.) Not
surprisingly, he likes girls with teeth—- pearly whites, to be exact—- and says a
good smile scores huge points with him. ("There’s no such thing as a cute smile
without teeth—- unless you play hockey.") A sense of humor also scores big
points with Ryan, and, as he says, this dream girl—- whomever she is-— must
be able "to put up with my crap," also referred to as his self-proclaimed
"indecisive tomfoolery." He needs a girl who’s not afraid to keep him in line. But,
being Ryan, he’s all about giving and receiving, which is why he likes a girl who
has "crap" for him to put up with, too. He hates playing games—- and we don’t
mean the kind you buy at Toys R Us. He likes women who say what they feel.
Spontaneity is also important since he’s extremely spontaneous (something he
shares with Berg, no doubt). And need we even tell you that he wants a girl who
likes dogs, particularly his dog Jobey? As he says, "She’s out of there if she
comes over and says she doesn’t like big dogs." Ryan wants a girl who takes
care of herself, "even though I don’t. All I have in my fridge is ketchup and
water…. And I want a girl who takes care of me when I’m sick." (He had a cold
when we spoke with him.) He doesn’t have a favorite hair color or "type," and
says he digs blondes, brunettes and redheads equally. He likes a girl who is
independent, yet he acknowledges that there’s always a time and place for being
clingy. In fact, Ryan himself admits to being clingy at times. Finally, he says a
girl with a nice mom who comes from a good family is a nice bonus.
Sigh... okay, so we're hooked, too...
