Micky's Place

Micky is very pleased that you chose his house for dinner because although the carnival would have been fun this will be so much more romantic! You quickly get ready and then you are both off in his car heading toward his house. He tells you with the excitement of a little boy all the things he is going to make you for dinner and the two of you talk and laugh until at last the car pulls up in front of his pad. He unlocks the door and motions for you to take a seat on the carpet in front of the fire. He assures you he will be right back with logs to get the fire going. Giving you an attempted dashing smile he then hurries outside frantically looking for firewood. He gathers some up in his arms and runs back into the house where you await his return. Just as he comes through the door he trips over the welcome mat and sends logs flying everywhere, one narrowly escaping your head, one knocking over the lamp and breaking it and the others rolling around the floor haphazardly. Micky quickly stands back up, brushing himself off, and smiling awkwardly at you as he attempts yet another dashing smile. He tries to be real casual as he picks up the scattered logs. You smile at him pretending not to notice what just happened and watch him lovingly as he starts the fire. The fire finally begins blazing and he sits down next to you and stares deep into your eyes, then suddenly he shakes off his gaze and exclaims, "Oh, silly me, I'm sorry you must be starving," he jumps up, "let me go get dinner started then I'll be right back." So, there you sit alone again, just a little bit frustrated as you wait for Micky to get back to enjoy the fire with you. After a little while he returns from the kitchen and takes his place next to you on the carpet then snuggles you into his arms. Just as you both start getting really cozy the flames from the fire seem to be getting brighter. Then you realize the flames are coming from the kitchen and not the fireplace. Micky jumps up, grabs your hand and runs out of the house. There the two of you stand watching his entire house go up in flames. He falls to the ground in a heap, crying. He asks you to leave so he can be alone in his time of sadness - he insists - and you are forced to go. You leave wondering if he will ever get over the devistation or if he will ever call you again.

Aww, too bad, better luck next time luv!!
