"Great! Horse back riding should be the perfect start to a very romantic evening!" he smiles, a sparkle in his eyes as he slaps his hands then rubs them together as if he has a secretive plan for the evening. You smile trying not to let your guess of him possibly popping the question show on your face. You quickly throw some things in a bag as Mike, looking very suspiciously excited, packs his saddle bags with goodies for the evening. You lock up the house and stroll arm in arm through the fields to his stables.
You mount the horses and you're off, trotting through the meadows. Mike, being in a playful mood, decides to show off his equestrian skills and starts trotting circles around your horse which you teasingly scold him for. He laughs and encourages you to pick up the pace so you can feel the wind in your hair. You do, and the feeling is wonderful! Mike begins to pick up more and more speed then looks back at you gloating since he is now quite
a bit ahead of you and winning your playful "race". You yell out
his name and he laughs turning his head to face forward then "THWAP!" his face has a head on collision with a huge tree branch. He is knocked off his horse and is now lying on the ground.
"Oh my gosh! Mike, I was trying to warn you about the branch! Are you okay?" you ask as you stride up beside him and dismount the horse to come to his aid. You see that he is now unconscious and panic! "Mike, speak to me!" you gently pat his face trying to bring him to.
He groans then his eyes flutter and open groggily.
"Mike, are you okay?!? You took a really nasty fall!"
His eyes widen in shock and he pushes you away, "Get away from me Wizard
Glick!"
"What? What are you talking about? Who is Wizard Glick!?" you
ask in a confused daze. "You can't fool me! What are you trying to do?! Steel my horses!?"
"Mike, what the heck are you talking about!?"
He jumps up and grabs one horse then mounts the other riding off at a great speed. He yells out, "Take that Wizard Glick! Now you'll be stranded in the middle of nowhere!" then he laughs evily,"MWAHAHAHAHAHA!"
You stand there still in shock trying to figure out what just happened as you watch Mike and his horses become tiny specks on the horizon.
Aww, it's a long walk home. I hope you
brought some good walking shoes! ;)
