My Tape Trading Policy
NOTE: Please do NOT propose any money for tape exchanges if you want a copy of one of my holdings. I will not accept money for my tapes. (I.e. Don't e-mail me and say that you'll give me twenty dollars for a copy of a TV show I have.) Selling tapes of TV programs for money is against the law.
I much prefer tape for tape trades.
Even Trades
To set up a one-for-one trade:
- E-mail me with a list of what you can offer;
- Please check my want lists for general TV and soaps
- Also check my lists of holdings in general TV and soaps to see if I have anything you're interested in.
Two-for-one and Other Uneven Trades:
Follow the same two steps as for one-on-one trades, plus
Send me a blank videocassette for each one beyond one that you want along with the appropriate return postage.
This procedure should also serve you well if you are a rookie trader who has nothing to offer. I, myself, am quite new to tape trading and I know how tough it can be to want something and not have something of adequate equal value to offer. (I.e. I want a lot of soap tapes from the late 1970s and early 1980s, but I have little besides audiotapes to offer based on my soaps wantlist.
Finally, once we agree on a trade, we can exchange mailing addresses.
Look for me to refine this trading policy as time goes on.
Thank you.
