Tea came down the stairs of the PH in an old t-shirt and sweats. She had spent the evening first with Starr and after she had been put to bed, wandering the PH by herself. Like she had for the past week. She had tucked under her arm a paperback romance, she was devouring one these a day anymore. It was a poor substitution for her husband.
Tea wanted Todd home with her but it seemed that it wasn't going to happen anytime soon. She had asked repeatedly for him to come home but was always brushed off. Tonight she had finally blown up and told him to move to the Sun for all she cared and that maybe she didn't want to get remarried. Todd had asked her if she was saying she didn't want to be married at all to him anymore. That had made Tea even anger and she told in him in no uncertain
terms what an idiot she thought he was being and didn't he realize how much she loved him? That she wouldn't put up with all this crap from him if she didn't and with that she slammed out of his office yelling over her shoulder that she was going to home. So home she went.
Tea sighed and laid back among the pillows on the couch and started to read, she soon was fast asleep and that is how Todd found her when he came in the door. He stood there for a moment gazing upon his wife and the feelings coursing through him almost brought him to his knees. He sat next to her sleeping form on the couch and touching her hair gently called her name in a whisper. "Delgado, Delgado wake up." Tea murmured in her sleep and turned over
on her side. The romance novel fell to the floor with a soft thud. Todd picked it up and looked at it with disgust and then over at his wife with a wry grin on his face. "God, Delgado after all that education you fill your brain up with this trash?" Tea responded softly, "Maybe if you can home more often I wouldn't be forced to read that so called trash." Todd had the grace to look guilty over that. "Tea, I uh, I am not so good at saying 'I'm sorry'
but I am. I do love you and I do want to make this marriage work…" Tea had placed her hand over his mouth. "It is Ok, Todd. I know that you are sorry. I can see it in your face. I just wish that you wouldn't shut me out so much but then I guess that is part of what makes you well you." While Tea was talking she leaned closer and closer to him. " I do love you and I always will." And with she brushed her lips across his and then Todd pulled her into
his lap while fully and deeply kissing her.
