Dawson and Joey were happily making out on his bed as the credits to ET began to roll across the screen.

"Oh Dawson, I love you." Joey said.

"Oh Jen, I love you too." he said nuzzling her neck.

"WHAT!!!!" she screamed throwing him off of her.

"I said I love you too Joey"

"No, you said I love you too JEN!" she said with tears streaming down her face.

"Joey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that, I swear! I love you."

"Dawson, we can never be happy as long as she's around. Don't you see that she is tearing us apart?"

"What are you getting at Jo?"

"Well, it's not like anyone would really miss her."

"YOU WANT TO KILL JEN!!!! For her having a crush on me?? Joey I think you've lost it."

"If you really love me and really want us to be together, you know that she has to be out of the way. Are you gonna help me?" she asked threatening him.

"Fine Joey, I love you enough to help you kill my ex girlfriend."

"Thank you!" she said kissing him quickly.

"So, have you come up with a scheme or is this gonna be a spur of the moment homicide?" Dawson asked her timidly.

"Well, I was thinking that we would have to make it look accidental. And, the easiest way of doing that is for her to drown or get hit by a car. And, since there is a conveniently deep creek just a few feet from all of our houses, I think drowning will be best." she said smiling at herself.

"Fine, we'll kill Jen." he repeated.

The next day they told Jen they wanted to show her the view of the deer from the middle of the creek. They all climbed into the rowboat and Dawson began rowing while talking to Jen. While they were talking Jen didn't notice Joey was tying her to the boat. Dawson and Joey gave each other a look, and said "I'm sorry Jen, it's for the best." and proceeded to flip the boat over. They were able to quickly swim away to safety. Jen, however, was tied to the boat, and drowned.

"See Dawson, it was all for the best." she said kissing him.

All of a sudden, Joey woke up laughing. Dawson woke up next to her and asked her what was so funny. She described the dream and her only anger was that it didn't happen for real.

THE END

Author's Note: This story is loosely based on the Texas Cadet Murder of Adrian Jones by Diane Zamora and David Graham. I tried to kill Jen, but i'm just too nice of a person and couldn't do it! Sorry!
