Swimming Pools
Part Five in Mel's Series

Pacey and Joey were both in the peaceful state of slumber when they heard
a
loud noise.
"What's that?" Joey asked scared that the walls of the cave were falling
in
or something.
"I think we are being rescued, Jo." Pacey stood up from the place on the
dirt floor of the cave where he was sitting. He wobbled a bit until he
caught his balance. Pacey and Joey slowly walked out into an open area of
the cave to see the sun's rays pouring in. They sheilded their eyes to
give
them time to adjust to the bright light. Once they could see, they
noticed
that the firemen had used a jackhammer to move all the fallen rocks out
of
the entrance of the cave.
"You two are lucky you weren't killed in that cave!! What were you
thinking? Oh well it doesn't matter anymore. Come on out of there. Go
home
and get cleaned up." The fireman said. His voice was very stern.
"Hey, my truck isn't even scratched!" Pacey exclaimed.
"Pacey can you take me to my hotel?" Joey mumbled, her voice giving away
her fear.
"Sure, Jo." Pacey opened the passenger side door and helped Joey into the
truck.

They pulled up to the entrance of the hotel. Pacey handed his keys to the
valet attendant and walked Joey up to her room. As they approached the
door
Joey spoke.
"Pacey will you stay with me?" Joey asked.
"Why?"
"Pacey, I don't want to be alone just yet and I think we need to figure
out
our whole relationship. Besides I really like being in your arms.
Please?"
She was pleading now. She wanted to be with Pacey more than anything now.
"What about Dawson?"
"What do you mean ' What about Dawson'?
"Jo, yesterday you were ass-backwards in love with him." He said
reminding
her.
"It was habitual love. I want to be with Pacey Witter, come on before I
change my mind." Pacey stepped inside closing the door behind him.
"Let's go for a swim to relieve the tension of the earlier events." He
didn't want to fess up that he just wanted to see her in a bikini.

"Stop it, Pacey!" Joey screamed. Pacey was chasing her around the pool
trying to throw her in. He was much faster and caught up with her. He
grabbed her and threw her in the pool. Pacey then jumped in beside her.
"I'm going to get you Pacey!" She wrapped her arms around his neck in
attempt to dunk him, but had no luck. Instead their eyes met and they
were
embracing in very passionate kiss, when hotel security came.
"I'm sorry but you can't do that here you must leave the pool area!" A
mid
30 year old guy wearing a hotel security read and grey uniform screamed
at
them.
They gathered their things quickly in attempt to escape all the dirty
glances.

When they got back to Joey's hotel room, as soon as the door was shut
Joey
initiated a kiss. And that kiss led to the best night of both of their
lives....
