Narcolepsy

Drusilla was laying down on a bed surrounded by her toys, looking very weak. She reached out and picked up one of her dolls. "Mrs. Edith where is my Spike?" she asked the doll. When the doll didn't answer like she normally did, Drusilla tossed the doll aside and started pouting.

Suddenly she sat up when she heard footsteps in the hall. Angelus burst in carrying a bound girl. He walked over to the bed and offered the terrified girl to Drusilla. Drusilla just turned her head away.

"Come on, pet. You have to eat," Angelus pleaded. "She's an innocent, your favorite."

"No! I want my Spike," Drusilla stated.

"I don't know where he is, honey," Angelus told her, exasperated. He threw the girl on the ground and sat down on the edge of the bed. He wrapped his arms around her and comforted her. "Don't the voices tell you where he is?"

"No," Drusilla answered. She calmed down a bit, then continued. "They won't tell me anything about Spike, the Hunter or the Slayer. It's like some one messing with my mind and I do not like it!" She seemed, for a moment, sane.

"Sh... Calm down, luv. Look I'll make you a deal. If you eat, I promise to take some of the guys and go look for Spike tomorrow," Angelus told her. He didn't want to do it, but Drusilla had to eat. He had never really liked Spike and had only made him in the first place so that Dru could have a plaything. But Dru wanted him and he would do anything to make her happy. < I never knew what she saw in him in the first place. >

"Tomorrow? Why not now?" Drusilla asked forcefully.

"Because most of the minions are gone now and there's only a few hours of darkness left," Angelus answered. "That's not enough time to find him." < Or his ashes... >

"Okay daddy. I'll eat, as long as you'll look for him," Drusilla told him.

Angelus got off the bed and picked the girl up off the floor. He dragged her over to Drusilla. When Drusilla slipped in to her 'game face' the girl started screaming and struggling, but it did no good. Drusilla bit the girl's neck and drained her. Angelus threw the body aside.

"Good girl," Angelus told Drusilla. "You know what girls get when they're good."

Drusilla's eyes lit up and she giggled. Angelus removed her toys from the bed and slid in beside her.

Raksha prowled Sunnydale, like a predator looking for it's prey. Actually she was a predator. And her prey was her lover, Spike. < Where can he be? The park, the cemetery, anywhere. This is going to be one long search. >

Raksha combed the streets of Sunnydale. She went everywhere in the small town. The docks, the red - light district, the park -- anywhere she could think of. She used her senses to feel any vampires around her but she didn't feel any with Spike's strength and own personal 'signature'.

She looked down at her watch. Six - thirty. It was almost sunrise. She started walking towards her hotel. < I guess I'll go back to my room... He'll have found shelter by now. Damn. I need to talk to him. To reassure him I'm not going to restore his soul. As much as I loved William, he's not strong enough to be survive if I restored him. I don't really want to do that to him either. I'd only make him suffer. >

She walked absorbed in her thoughts. Around her the small town of Sunnydale was waking to a new day. Finally, she reached her room. She expected the door to be locked but when she tried the handle, the door swung open.

"Watch it!" Spike yelled.

Raksha quickly stepped into the room and shut the door. She took a deep breath and turned around to face him. "Good morning."
