Lucky and Lizzie:
Ruby Remembered
scene

{Walking up, outside of Kelly's, Lucky looks in and then walks past}

Lizzie:  “Are you ok?”

Lucky:  “I just got hit by a memory.”

Lizzie:  {Coming over to him} “Tell me.”

Lucky:  “Guess it's still in my mind -- the first time I met Ruby.”

{Flashback}

Ruby:  {With her back to the door as it opens} “Sorry. I'm closed up early. {Turning around} Well, hello.”

Lucky:  “Hi. Are you Ruby?”

Ruby:  “I am.”

Lucky:  “Good. {He looks around} I'm Lucky Spencer.”

Ruby:  “Lucky Spencer. Your photographs don't do you justice.”

Lucky:  “I know. My ears always stick out.”

Ruby:  “They do not. Let me see. You are just like your mother.”

Lucky:  “Dad said that's why I’m Lucky.”

Ruby:  “Can I give you a hug, or is it too soon?”

Lucky:  “I like hugs.”

Ruby:  “Oh. {She hugs him} Welcome home, Lucky.”

Lucky:  “Ruby was everything my parents said she was. You know, it was kind of nice remembering a time where I could actually believe what they told me.” {Laura walks up}

Laura:  “I just found out. I'm sorry. {She hugs him} I’m sorry, honey.”

Lucky:  “I was just telling Elizabeth about when I came to Port Charles and first met Ruby.”

Laura:  “And she came through, didn't she, no questions asked.”

Lucky:  “Whoa -- I don't know about no questions.”

Laura:  “You're right. How are you doing?”

Lizzie:  “I’m ok. Sad, you know?”

Laura:  “I do.”

Lucky:  “So you want to go in?” {They go inside and everyone hugs Bobbie}

Lizzie:  “Hi.”

Bobbie:  “Hi.”

Lizzie:  “Is there anything we can do to help?”

Felicia:  “I could use a few extra hands in the kitchen.”

Lucky:  “We're your team.”

Felicia:  “Great.”

Lucky:  “Come on.” {They walk off}

Lucky:  {Luke comes in and sees Lucky} “Hi.”

Luke:  “Hello, son.”

Lucky:  “Bobbie told me you were back in town. Just to pay your respects, or you going to hang around this time?”

Luke:  “Well, I don't know if this is going to be good news or bad news, but I think I finally realized that Port Charles will always be my return address. I guess I don't have to tell you how much Ruby loved you.”

Lucky:  “No. No, she made sure I knew.”

Luke:  “Just for the record, she knew that you loved her, too. She told me so.”

Lucky:  “Well, for the record, that's good news.”

Lizzie:  “Well, it's all cleaned up. Ruby would be amazed. I'm not a very good waitperson.”

Luke:  “Oh, I doubt that if you worked for the Rube. I'd stack her dishes against any antique hand-painted china any day.”

Lucky:  “Well, we're going to take off, but it was nice to see you.”

Luke:  {They shake hands} “You, too, Cowboy. Elizabeth.”

Lizzie:  “Mr. Spencer. And I’m sorry.”

Luke:  “Thanks.” {They turn to leave}

Sonny:  {Coming in the door} “Hey, Lucky.”

Lucky:  {Shaking his hand} “Thanks for coming.”

Sonny:  “My condolences.”

Lucky:  “Thanks.”

Sonny:  “How's your old man?”

Lucky:  “He didn't say.”

Sonny:  “He wouldn't. {Shaking her hand} Ms. Webber.”

Lizzie:  “Mr. Corinthos.”

Sonny:  “Call me Sonny.”

Lizzie:  “Sonny.”

Lucky:  “I’ll see you later, man." {They leave}
