Info about the writer and the story

I have been watching soaps since I can remember. I was an only child so my TV was my best friend. I started watching the soaps on ABC but switched over to Days of Our Lives when I saw Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn at work. I instantly fell in love with these two and stayed with Days until Deidre left in 1987. I came back when Dee did in 1991 but I didn't stay long because John and Marlena weren't together. I went back to Days when the affair happened and I've been back ever since. Through good and bad I've stuck by my favorite couple.

Now on to my story. This story begins just after Roman came to Salem and interrupted John and Marlena's wedding back in July of 1997. I started writing this story because I was so frustrated with what was going on with Days at that time. In the first chapter I introduce a character named Jesse. Now the story may seem mostly about her at first but trust me this is a story about John and Marlena.

Before you start reading I just want to say that I tried to stay true to history but I did change one event in history. I know that many long-time viewers like myself get very angry over the changing of history but please read the story and decide for yourself. Then judge.
