Observations:
Since '95 after Hanwei's win in Star Awards (except 1997-99 when he was backstage), his ranking has always been very close to Chor Meng's. So it's not surprising he overtook him at last.

Observation:
Only 2 local actors made it to the top 10 in all the rounds - Hanwei and Chor Meng. The name of the rest of local actors (except Vincent Ng) didn't even appear in the top 20 list. Cao Qi Tai, host of "Who wants to be a Millionnaire" was in all the rounds, showing that students do not judge their idols by just age and looks.
Hanwei also beat the hot actors from Korea. (Zaobao chose to talk about the Korean actor who appeared in Channel U drama beating Chor Meng but was silent on Hanwei's win).
The only U channel artiste who entered all rounds was Evelyn Tan. Perhaps this is why Mediawork's Shin Min, Wanbao and Zaobao would rather report on the foreign artistes popularity and win.
